“Arrogance at its best?BR>Out of Character: First one; had shit to do and this was what I could do.

When dealing with a supposed “legend?in the wrestling business, what are you to do? Do you sit back and acquiesce to their experience and savvy inside of the ring? Do you show them…respect? No. You don’t show them respect because that sort of thing is earned, and in this instance…not only hasn’t it been earned, but also the person commanding it doesn’t even deserve it. That man who “doesn’t deserve?the respect that he so very much wants is none other than the supposed “King of the Mountain?Jeff Jarrett.

Oh…you don’t know who Jarrett is? Well, let’s tell you who this man is: He’s the man who after the WWE bought out WCW in 2001, knowing that he burned every bridge he had with the company, decided not to try and go to the number one company in wrestling, and wait an entire year to create his own company…which will forever be known as the B-company in the eyes of many. This is a man who after creating his own company decided that it was his prerogative to place the title on himself so many times and hold down several young, up and coming superstars to make stroke his own ego, holding the belt for nearly a year. A man who admitted to refusing to be seen on his own company’s show during the four months that they didn’t have a television contract because he felt as though if he wasn’t on TV, then it doesn’t mean anything. Then all of a sudden because his wife dies of cancer, it’s used as a springboard of sympathy for him to get people to say, “Hmm…maybe Jeff’s not the bad guy that we thought he was.?/SPAN>

I’ll let you in on a little secret ?he really is a bad guy. Using his wife’s situation, and subsequently his own daughters to make himself look better makes him the kind of guy that you would hate to be associate yourself with. Jarrett doesn’t deserve the praise and adulation that most people are giving him because most of the time, his success came through false pretenses. Which is why “The Diamond?Gregory Erickson has found a way to show each and every person why Jeff Jarrett is the most overrated son-of-a-bitch this side of Nashville.

?FONT color=#ffffff>…So I’m sitting in the back, and I watch the monitor and I couldn’t believe my eyes or my ears. It was Jeff Jarrett ?Mr. TNA himself ?on our television screen, waxing nostalgic about his career and everything he’s done in TNA, wasting valuable airtime and it made me sick to my stomach.?/SPAN>

The screen slowly fades open to show none other than “The Diamond?Gregory Erickson, standing in the middle of his locker room, dressed in his wrestling attire with a look that was, sufficed to say, not impressed at all. Quite frankly, he hasn’t been impressed with anything that’s gone down with his would-be opponent because there really wasn’t any reason for him to be.

?FONT color=#ffffff>You see…Jarrett wants people to believe that he’s a family man. That he’s the kind of guy who respects everyone, and wants everyone in the business to follow his way of doing things because it’s the ‘right way to do things? Well, Jeff…that’s where you’re wrong. See, because if people went about your way of doing things, Jeff, then they’d be even bigger hypocrites than you. Through out your entire career, you respected no one ?you were looking out for number one, and that’s okay. But what wasn’t okay was you doing things that was downright contradictory to your current philosophy. Sidling up to Vince Russo to get the main undeserved World Championship reigns you got in WCW shows that you don’t believe in paying your dues and earning everything. Because without your friendship with Russo, you would have nothing. You’d be some marginal mid-carder with marginal skill that no one would want to watch. Hell, no one wanted to watch you then. Vince McMahon had the right idea about you ?push him to where he belongs, and leave him there. Jeff, you’re nothing more than an overhyped, overrated, sap-sucking jackass who relies too much on his connections to get him somewhere. For once, I want to agree with Kurt Angle wanting to break your neck so you don’t exist in this business anymore.?/SPAN>

Many people know about the heated, sordid feud between Olympic gold medallist, Kurt Angle, and Jeff Jarrett stemming from TNA, and how Kurt would ritualistically bring up Jeff’s family, catching the ire of Jarrett, going on to mention how he’d permanently end Jeff to show people that he was washed up. It was quite amusing to see Jeff get all riled up and squirm from the mere mentioning of his deceased wife and his daughters.

?FONT color=#ffffff>Unlike Kurt, I could care less about your family. I don’t care about your daughters, or your wife that kicked the bucket ?she’s as useless now as she was before she died; I’m sorry, but it’s the truth. And seeing as how we’re in Nashville ?your hometown ?I would find it to be nothing sweeter than to embarrass you in front of your friends and family, Jeffie. How are you going to explain that to your kids? How are you going to explain that you’re past your prime, and that you can’t do anything worth a damn any more? That’s right; you’re going to lie to them. You won’t tell them the truth because you want them to firmly believe that you’re still their hero even though you’re nothing more than a liar. A fake. A has-been. A phony. You’re the kind of guy that when the chips are down, you’re going to complain on…just about everything. I mean Jeff…what’s going to stop you from having a flashback to Bash at the Beach 2000, and lying down so I can pin you? Yeah. For such a ‘respectable human being?you sure have done a lot in your career to dispel that, huh? I mean shit…lying down for an opponent means you cheated every…single…fan out of their hard earned money because they thought they would’ve gotten a match that was…ya know…worth it. Of course, a match for the World Title featuring Jeff Jarrett and Hulk Hogan isn’t something that I would call ‘worth my money? but I can understand. It was 2000, people didn’t know any better. Quite honestly, I was 17-years-old when that went down, and I immediately said that WCW wasn’t worth it the moment you got the title, Jeff. So what does that say about you??/SPAN>

Taking a brief pause, Gregory flashed a small smirk, crossing his arms along his broad chest, knowing that his words will do nothing more than make Jarrett irate.

?FONT color=#ffffff>The way I see it, Jeff, you’re a nobody. As a matter of fact, you’re nothing more than a broken down old man trying to relive his past glory years. You’re washed up; you’re nothing. When I look at you, I see a man who’s lucky. Who got everything handed to him because his daddy mandated it to be so. Where would you be without all of that, huh? Nowhere. And it’s that simple fact that has me not respecting you and what you’ve done in this business. You’re worthless. Every single thing about you is just abysmal, and I find it pathetic that I have to stand across the ring from a has-been who shouldn’t even be in the company. You’re not allowed in here, you got that? Take your slut daughters, and get them out of the WGEF because they don’t deserve a damn roster spot, you got me? Because whether the three of you like it or not, you’ve got no shot at becoming anything worth a damn in this company because the three of you aren’t anything special. The crop of talent in this company is exceptionally better than you, so for you, Jeff, to trot your half-witted daughters around is something that’s that much more embarrassing because you want people to think that they’re coming from some extra special learning tree. What learning tree? Why would you insult my intelligence like that for?!?/SPAN>

Shaking his head, Gregory scratched the back of his neck and sighed some.

?FONT color=#ffffff>Don’t…don’t give me this bullshit about how your family is a decorated family, and that they’ve been in the business for so long…because that’ll make me hate you more. So what’s going to happen is I’m going to take you into that ring, and show you just why I am The Diamond of this business.?Reaching down, Gregory picked up one of Jarrett’s trademarked guitars and held it up, ?FONT color=#ffffff>Because this isn’t TNA…it’s not WCW…it isn’t even the WWE. It’s the WGEF, and you? Ya done for.?/SPAN>

Rather quickly, Gregory brought the guitar forward and smashed it across the camera in front of him, causing it to immediately fizz out to static before going to commercials.
