After last night's loss at On the Edge, Phoenix Winterborn has been reported backstage depressed and packing up his bags. Some have speculated that Phoenix is contemplating retirement from professional wrestling after yet another defeat at the hands of the WGEF Champion Chris McKenzie. How will Phoenix respond to these rumors? We caught up with the birdman backstage, and he has this to say:

Phoenix Winterborn:
Retirement, huh? Actually, I'm not sure at this point. I have some decisions I need to make before I step back into a wrestling ring, and right now...Chris McKenzie and the WGEF Championship are the furthest things from my mind. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens, huh?
