Shortly after his debut match against Triple H on WGEF's Rampage, Miss. Marie, the finacee to Erick Jameson -- who was in attendance and backstage at tonight's Rampage event -- went into labor. The couple announced their epxecting a child earlier in the year via internet news sites and shortly thereafter, announced their engagement. The couple have been together since the early months of 2007.
Miss. Marie gave birth to a healthy and beautiful baby girl, via natural brith, in the wee hours of December 9th, 2008. This is the couples first child together. They welcomed new daughter Savannah Rachelle Jameson, with loving arms at an area hospital, not far from the arena where Erick had just performed. Savannah weighed in at a 6 pounds 14 ounces, and was 16 inches long. Both mother and daughter are doing fine and are expected to be released Thursday afternoon, where they will return to their Detroit home with father, Erick.
As some may remember, Miss. Marie, also known to wrestling fans as Ashley Marie Nunez reached fame during the prime of her career, 2002-2005 and is a former EEW Women's Champion, EEW Tag Team Champion, UWI Women's Champion and a champion from various other companies. She also competed briefly with Pro Wrestling Inc/Combat Pro Wrestling from August of 2007-January of 2008, where she would suffer a dibilitating injury that would require emergency surgery. After a month and a half off to rehab, she announced her retirement from competitive wrestling -- at least for now -- and would later win the award for Goriest Injury of the Year at the PWI/CPW Slammy's in December of '07, an award she was quite reluctant to receive. She and Erick met through mutual friends after competiting in a charity event in the Fall of 2006 and would become a couple during the Christmas season of 2006.
