Rumors have been circulating like wildfire around WGEF regarding the Women's Division and its obvious lackluster of reliable females. Names have dropped that seem to take offense to being called out on their reliability factor with regard to their position in the company and complaints have arisen from many of the female talent, begging the question; when is it my turn to face the champion for her title? Some of those questions and those rumors were laid to rest nights ago, at a WGEF House Show where Kaylee Adams finally took charge of her defuncting Women's Division by saying that the three warning rule was back in place, and she was going to take no more of the unreliable shananigans that seem to be coming from the Women's Division. However, with those rumors slowly dying down, new rumors have begun to emerge concerning the Women's Division and it's proud Champion, Jeanette Salazar. Over the past few weeks, since the ending of 2008 and especially after the recent departure of Tapanga James, there have been sightings and rumors of a classified, behind closed -- and locked -- doors meeting between Kaylee Adams, Trish Stratus and Jeanette Salazar regarding the division, the championship belt and the company's standing with it's lady fighters. Now, these are only rumors but names were dropped, voices were raised at one point or another and different views have been taken on the entire situation but one thing the three extremely powerful, accomplished diva's can agree on; the company is in a very weak, very awkward position with regards to it's female roster. Some would even say that these meetings are what have been distracting Champion Jeanette Salazar over recent weeks, thwarting her attention from her opponents to finding a way to save and fix the Women's Division before it's too late. Those speculations really came to light after a devastating loss to Adalyn Raine on last night's Fight Night.

WGEF caught up with Jeanette after the match that only had these comments to say about her match with Adalyn "It's a loss....and, as devastated as people would think that I am right now, I'm really not. I never said that Adalyn wasn't talented, that she wasn't capable of beating me, I said I had my doubts that she would beat me solely based on her performances since the moment she arrived. I'll admit, when she first walked through those doors I saw her as a huge threat to the entire division, I saw extreme potential in her and had some pretty high hopes, as did Chris Michaels, who....I am sure is ready to gloat over the fact that his precious little prodigy beat me tonight. But, over recent months those hopes, those expectations I held for Adalyn have died because of her lack of devotion, passion....her lack of interest in the company. It's somewhat disheartening .So this loss tonight, it really sets in stone what I've been working on for weeks now, for this division, to help save it before it's too late. Adalyn, congratulations on beating me...wasn't as easy as you assumed it would be and I am sure that you and I will meet again. Only that time, the story will end a lot more different then it did tonight. Does the loss upset me? Kind of, only in the fact that I've let my fans down with the loss, but compare that to my winning record; three matches out of the thirty-someodd matches that I've had and only three are losses. My record speaks for itself, I am still a force in this division. But, soon, that is all going to change...very, very soon." When called on for a more thorough explaination to that last statement, all she would tell us was that we, like the fans and the roster, would have to wait and see with a smile, before treading off to her daily life. With the closed door meetings and the division in a major blunder, what could the fans and the roster possibly expect from these three women, that might put the females back in the standing that they once were at.

We here, at WGEF.com are on top of this story and hope to provide more answers to the many questions our fans -- and a division full of over-confident women -- might have.
