MESSAGE FROM THE MASTERMIND: So, here's my first match roleplay as Tapanga this year! I know this match will be fan-freaking-tastic, Bianca! May the awesomenest chick win, love! And without further ado, here's She Got This!

Well, it goes without saying that things had been fairly. . .different around WGEF, as of about December 2008. By different, one could mean and imply many things. Good different or a bad different? That's for people to decide for themselves, but honestly, for Tapanga James, it was a bittersweet kind of different. Everyone knew what happened to the young couple, now officially a division of the James family in their own right, and the entire world watched, feeling just as helpless as Dylan and Tapanga did right in the thick of it all. Perhaps it seemed Dylan James was more vocal about his frustrations, but Tapanga had been the same way, just quieter about it. Which was strange for her. Usually her motor mouth ran a mile a minute, but tragedies stole her voice, as some would say. The entire situation involing her would-be daughter was frustrating for the former WGEF Women's Champion, and current half of the WGEF Tag-Team Champions, because for once, she couldn't control things. She liked to have some hold of power, and be able to fight. But there was nothing that she could do to fight the loss of her and Dylan's daughter. This time last year, the thought of Tapanga being married and having a child would have repulsed her. She was a young woman yet, and didn't want to end her career so early. But, this past year of 2008, Tapanga had grown up significantly, her outlook on everything has totally changed. She's in love, ready to devote her entire life to just one man for the rest of her days on this green Earth, and perhaps the most devastating thing was that she actually wanted to be a mother. For most women, it was a terrifying thing, and of course, the now Mrs. James was frightened at first, but she'd grown accustomed to the idea. She was ready to be a mother and a wife and take on that roll. She wanted to be the best she could be, and make a change. She wanted to be the best mother, at least better than what hers was to her, and what Dylan's was to him, but that wasn't to be. Because of her hard scrabble past as a struggling Opiate and alcohol addict, the only way for her to presently sustain a pregnancy is to undergo treatment and take medication every month -- which she was doing faithfully. Of course, Tapanga James now is as healthy as a horse, completely clean and sober, but there was a time, a very dark time in the Highflying Sweetheart's life when she was peddling for money to buy her next fix, doing anything and everything to hide it from her mother, sneaking alcohol into her bedroom, and never leaving her bed for days; even weeks because of chronic depression. That lonely little Tapanga with hair missing -- pulled from her very scalp --, cuts all over her arms, agonizing words of regret and lonesomeness written all over her body, and a scar around her neck from trying to hang herself in her own closet. . .is gone. She is dead. Gone, but never forgotten. She lives as a warning to Tapanga as to what could happen if she let selfish desires and the world get to her. She is a different woman now, a married, successful, amazing young woman with a story to tell, people to beat -- err, meet -- and she couldn't be happier now. In all of the darkness, it allowed the self-proclaimed Motherfuckin' Princess of Wrestling time to reflect and think about her life, what she truly wanted, and all aspects of it. That sort of thing changes people. Tragedy molds Tapanga James. It always has. From the death of her father, her constant near-death experiences, her battles with addictions, and now this. She'd come to realize a lot of things those weeks when she was alone in her home in Raleigh, North Carolina with just her boyfriend and now husband, Dylan James. He didn't know it, but just being there through the thick of it all helped her cope. She came to realize that life always goes on. Time doesn't stop for those who possess brokenhearts, and there were no hearts more broken than that of Tapanga and her husband at the time. They had to go on, or else they would lose their will to survive. It was one of the reasons, this realization, that Tapanga encouraged Dylan to continue on in his pursuit of the WGEF Championship. This was one of the reasons why she didn't choose to end the game so early. This was one of the reasons why she came back to the WGEF. The past is the past. Gone. But never forgotten. Take it for what it is worth, learn from it, and carry on. As Albert Einstein once said, which was a bizarre source for Tapanga to cite, but she did anyway as she started putting the pieces together in her broken state. . ."Learn from yesterday, live for today, and hope for tomorrow." It meant everything that Tapanga James and the Renegadez themselves live for. They had to carry on, no matter what happens, whether it was from losing their child, to losing a critical match-up. There was another source that Tapanga and Dylan James cite now and forever, "Renegadez never end, never stop, never die." Tapanga herself said that, as she willingly took a blow from the WGEF Championship, to stand beside what she believed in, to stand beside Dylan James. It is time to begin again. For Tapanga and Dylan to start the fight, the battle, the proverbial war again. And it began Sunday night when the Extreme Phenom took Chris McKenzie to Civil War for the ride of his freaking life. It continues. Tapanga James's first match in the New Year, against one of the brightest up-and-comers of the business: Paris Jior. Lace up your combat boots, Mrs. James -- it's time to do what you do best; kick asses, and rip faces!

This Tuesday afternoon found Tapanga James on her way to Connecticut, the king of the snob states, as she liked to call it. And it was pretty accurate, it seemed only the rich lived their. Those who smoked their pipes and sat by the fire while worrying about their precious stocks and shares. What a perfect, paradoxical place for the Highflying Sweetheart to make her official in-ring return in. Technically, she's been back since New Year's Eve of 2008, but that was mostly on the side. She wasn't ready for real competition yet when she officially signed back on to WGEF, so she showed up for two reasons: two keep an eye on the Women's Division and to be there for her husband. Yes, they've been married. So, what happened to the small affair that was planned to happen in Raleigh on January 5th? Well, it never actually happened. In true Renegadez fashion, they skipped out on their own wedding and eloped to Las Vegas, which wasn't meant to be disrespectful, but they'd take it with pride! With all of the constant nagging of family and friends, they just wanted to escape for a while before Dylan's big match-up, and just be them. A stereotypical wedding wouldn't be them; the Renegadez -- the best fucking tag-team in WGEF fucking history, bitches! Thus, Tapanga resolved for a name change. She realized how retarded Tapanga Britt-James would look. It was too big of a name, in her words, for such a little gal. She only stands at a mere five foot three inches tall in her sneakers, and about five foot two and a half barefoot. The girl is fast in the ring, a pint sized powerhouse with the heart of a lion -- as some would say. The Renegadez were notorious for their heart and drive, and even after all that has happened, Tapanga James is no exception. And this shall hold true when Tapanga officially gets back into the ring against rookie competitor Paris Jior, who in her own right, has been impressive as well. Tapanga had been keeping her eye on the Women's Division wisely. She knew she still wanted back into the game, regardless of the fact that one of her good friends, Jeanette Salazar-Sane, is the Women's Champion, and that her sister-in-law Gabriella Love was also a part of the game as well. She knew what she wanted. She wanted gold. She absolutely loved being both the Women's Champion and the Tag-Team Champion at that one time, making history as one of the few women to be a double champion in today's world, and she'd do anything in her power and at her disposal to get a shot at the Women's Championship again. She was right all along, Angela Stewart, a woman who Tapanga herself has already defeated as the Women's Champion before, didn't have the chops yet to be a Women's Champion. Some women were just born to be champions and Tapanga James is one of them. She's the kind of gal that can't stay away from the gold, the glitz, and the achievements, even when she'd at her worst, she's still better than a whole mess of people. And that's the bona fide truth. Would she be better than the likes of Jeanette Salazar-Sane come time they face each other again? Well, that's a question for another day. Tapanga James has something else to worry about and her name is Paris Jior. Looking at Paris, she saw herself when she first came out onto the scene. A gal with nothing to lose, everything to gain, and a willingness to do anything to achieve her dream. How wonderful it would be for the Australian beauty to pick up a win against a former Women's Champion? As fucking if! As much as Tapanga thought Paris Jior was on to something, she was in no way going to get a win against the likes of WGEF's Butterfly Girl. Rome wasn't built in a day, and Tapanga James didn't become a household name overnight. She had to earn it. She had to fight and claw her way to the top. And Paris Jior would do the same. So, a win for the cool newcomer? No, not this is time, Paris. It's Tapanga James's night. She got this!

Our scene fades in from a commercial break, admist all of the vignettes of the aftermath of Civil War and the advertisements for all sorts of items and services, to display a fan-packed Mohegan Sun Casino Arena in Connecticut. Immediately, the fans were screaming and cheering, just happy to be where they were. The camera scaled over the masses of people, their signs held high and their cameras ready to snap a photo of anything they thought would be a cool memory at a WGEF event. The camera then turned to look at the arena in the center of it all. The black mat was down, and in the ring stood a man in a suit with two chairs in the center, so it was a signal to all that something big was going to happen. The camera zoomed in on the man as camera flashes went off and the fans randomly cheered to show that it was one of the veteran reporters for Fight Night, Robert Levy. He looked very formal in his traditional black-and-white suit, which was a change of pace from the usual backstage attire he was caught in when interviewing the superstars and divas of WGEF. He raised his microphone, which proudly and obviously bore the WGEF logo on it, and began to speak over the cheering voices. He cleared his throat to let them know he was about to speak and then paused. A few moments later, the cheering died down a little bit so that everyone in the arena could hear him. On one of the seats that was set across from his in the ring, there was another WGEF microphone. So, this must mean someone else is going to show up? Sch-weetness. All ears went to Levy as he raised his microphone and began to speak.

?/FONT>robert LEVY: "Ladies and gentlemen, tonight, I -- Robert Levy; senior reporter for Friday Night Fight Night -- am pleased announce the return and reintroduce you all to a person that has been missing from our line-up for months now. And we all have to admit, it's been a little boring in the Women's division without her!" He chuckled as the fans popped. "I think you all know who I am talking about. I am talking about one of the fastest rising young stars of her time, a woman who came from nothing and now has it all, a self-made woman, the Texas native that has risen to iconic status in less than half a decade simply because she dares to do what no one else will do in the ring, and that she dares to be herself. Tonight, folks, I give you, the Highflying Sweetheart. . .Tapanga James!"

The roof was on tight at the arena, but with just those words, the very top half of that structure might as well have been ripped off that night. The fans erupted in a sea of cheers and screams that would make anyone's ears hurt, but you didn't pay attention to the pain in your ears, because you were screaming right along and worrying about the pain in your throat from practically screaming your throat out! For a few moments, nothing was heard but the mesmorizing screams of the fans, all eagerly waiting to see the WGEF Icon herself, Tapanga James. Even with a slight name change, there was no denying who she is and what she does, and how awesometastically she does it all! A smile spread across Levy's face as he lowered his microphone and clapped as well, watching the titan tron and ramp just like the rest of the crowd. After a while, the upbeat and refreshing sound of "She's A Rebel" from the well-known alternative Green Day blasts over the sound system, and the newly prepared titan tron video for the Championess began to play as well. The cheering only increased more. Immediately, all sorts of firework-esque pyrotechnics went off and exploded, shaking the very ramp with intensity. The beat of the music picked up as finally, the woman herself appeared in the midst of the steam and smoke from the pyrotechnics. And she didnt' miss a beat. She leaped in the air with excitement, just as bouncy as ever, with a happening smile on her tan face; a face that the people had missed seeing around dearly. She stopped at the beginning of the ramp, waving to the fans and smiling broadly, and then raised her hands high in the air, giving her trademark rock-out signs while still smiling from ear-to-ear. In that moment, all sorts of camera flashes went off and another bout of outrageous pyrotechnics went off, displaying and setting the mood for the big return, perhaps one of the biggest of the New Year. Tonight, Tapanga donned on one of her favorites: a black corsette, matching skirt and her always-awesome combat boots. For a change, her long blonde hair was seperated into pig-tails, a style you didn't see many of the divas of WGEF wear much anymore, but it seemed Tapanga was keen on bringing it back. She yelled out to the fans phrases such as 'I love you, too!' and 'I missed you!' back to them as she started down the ramp, taking the time to shake hands with the fans and strike up some small talk with them, as she went from side to side of the ramp. She even stopped for a few photo opportunities. The fans just couldn't seem to get enough of their Tapanga James! She then, instead of getting right into the ring, went around the entire ring, slapping hands with the fans and giving them greetings. A few of them stole a few photos and hugs, pats on the back. She started to walk away, but at the last minute, simply ran onto the barriers on her knees, her arms raised in a symbol of victory and triumph as the fans snapped photos and reached out to her. Laughing the entire time with obvious joy, she safely leaped off from the barrier, careful not to flash the entire world, and then continued around, even stopping at the commentary tables to shake hands with Dave Burrows, Joe Johnson and even Kelly Young. Finally, she walked up the black steel steps and entered the ring under the second rope. With a smile, she walked over to Robert Levy and greeted him with a quick hug, and they shook hands after he respectfully pecked her on the cheek. They said a few words and then cheerfully retired to their seats, which were high-up and sophisticately black and sleek. It felt a little strange for Tapanga to be this high up at first, but then again, it was a lot like a bar stool, so she got used to it. She smiled and waved to the still cheering fans again as he music was finally put to an end. She held her own microphone on her lap as Robert raised his microphone up as well. For the first time in months, Tapanga James spoke to the crowd. It was like visiting an old friend you hadn't seen in ages. She felt comfortable just hanging out up there, chatting with the fans. Immediately, they recognized that sultry Southern twang of hers.

?/FONT> tapanga JAMES: "Why, thank you!" She gave a salute to the fans. "It's been awhile, too long, since I heard something that fantastic, and my loves, I ain't gonna let myself go without it again!" The fans popped. "Haha, that's what I love to hear! That's why I agreed to do this interview out here, in front of all you amazing fans, 'cause I never get tired of hearing the screams, the cheers, and feeling the electricity that you people just radiate every single freakin' night. I've missed it, and guys, I've got to tell you, there ain't nothin' else in the world like it!" They cheered again. "It's great to be back, and I'm tellin' you folks right now, I ain't going anywhere!" She smirks as the fans pop again. "Now, without me going off on a tangent about how freakin' awesome it is to be back, I'm turning it over to Robert, here."

She nodded as the fans made positive cheers again. She gestured for Robert to go ahead. He nodded as well and sat up in his chair, holding his microphone up, and then began to deliver his introduction and ask the first question of the night.

?STRONG>robert LEVY: "Thank you, Tapanga." Fans pop. "It's great to have you back. There is indeed no other like Tapanga James! It's been a long time since we've had both halves of the WGEF Tag-Team Champions -- the Renegadez -- in the game at the same time again." Fans cheer. "Fate gave you both some twists and turns that kept one out of the game while one was active, and vise-versa. However, things had changed. It's a new year with new opportunities, which is what the world loves about 2009 so far. Keeping that in mind, Tapanga, tonight, I want to ask you, and I'm sure the rest of the WGEF Nation would like to know, is what are your plans, as a singles competitor, as a tag-team competitor, for your career this year?"

The fans popped, agreeing with Levy that they'd like to hear what the Butterfly Girl has in store for the coming year. She and Dylan had both accomplished so much in 2008, they knew that there was so much more they could do in 2009, and that they'd most likely have another awesome year. While it was a rollercoaster, and it ended sort of on a bad note, Tapanga couldn't deny that she was happy with the way 2008 went, with the exception of the death of their child. The beginning of 2008 brought the Renegadez together in a way they never thought they'd be, and that was the happiest time in Tapanga's life when they took the plunge and decided they were going to be together no matter what. 2009 began with another milestone, the Renegadez's wedding. Who would have thought that the best highflying, risktaking team in WGEF would not only be just two great friends, but two fierce lovers and one hell of a couple? No one. They are the Renegadez, after all. No one saw it coming! After a few seconds of pausing, Tapanga raised her microphone and delivered an answer.

?tapanga JAMES: "Plan? You look at me like I'm s'posed to have one. Well, I guess I went and missed the memo, 'cause the last time I checked, nothing that's great is planned, and well, sonny, I don't have a plan." Fans popped. "I don't do 'planning.' It takes the fun out of everything, and takes away what I love the most; the spontaneous factor. Where anything and everything could happen. It gives ya this rush where it keeps you on your toes and hanging on 'til the very last moment, and well, that's what wrestling is all about, the not-knowing and the making every minute count. You see, Robert, I've never planned any move in my career in my life, especially the in-ring part. I got out there with one goal: to give it my all, no matter what, and people, that ain't changed!" Fans popped again. "Ya see, no matter what opponent management gives me, I will prepare for the match to the best of my ability, above and beyond the call of duty, so that I go out to that match at my best and at my prime every single night! So that I'm ready to give it my all every time. That's my plan, I guess you'd say. Make every moment count, kick ass, take names, kick their f*cking faces off, and win. Simple, easy to remember. I personally like it, myself." Smirks. "So for 2009, I do have a few goals, not necessarily a plan or what have you. As the Renegadez, we're still gonna continue to prove to the entire business why we are the best in the business today. We're gonna still wow these awesome people with the highflying, breathtaking, showstealing moves that let the whole world know we are the motherf*ckin' Renegadez!" Fans cheer again. "And well, as far as my singles career goes, Rob, well, I got this hankering, this yearning to meet this certain lady, ya see, and she's the Women's Champion." Fans pop again as she smirks. "I want the Women's Championship, and doll, what I want, I get. I fight, I claw, I bitch, I chew until I get what I want and what I know I deserve. Everyone saw the utter screwjob -- there's no other way to put it -- that me and Kia McKenzie were put through against that monstrosity Ivy Stratus. Much as I value Chris Kinning's friendship, I gotta say his taste in women suck, and Ivy being champion was a total fluke. Jeanette Salazar-Sane called it right out when she won the title from her those weeks ago, and she was right. Ivy just stood there and played it safe while me and Kia literally beat the living hell out each other, and then, she hopped in and stole the title. She stole it. She didn't earn it like I did. She was quite literally given the title shot, just like Angela Stewart. I was never given the shot, I had to fight my way to even be considered! It's bullshit, as much as I respect Trish Copes and Kaylee Adams." Fans give a mixed reaction. "I had an opportunity and still do to cash in my clause as a former champion, but I won't. As much as I respect and admire the beautiful and talented Jeanette Salzar-Sane, I won't take the same route she did. We all know she could have worked her way through the ranks, but she chose not to, she took the easy root to the title, when Ivy was ready to be beaten. That's not how this chick does things, people." Fans cheer. "I am gonna work my way through the ranks, just like I did when I came to WGEF, and get to the Women's Championship the right way, and in the end, it is I who will be having the last laugh, and the title around my waist again -- on my own terms."

The fans cheered after the very strong words and speech that Tapanga had just given. It was clear that no matter what has happened, she never lost her spunk, her drive, and her incredible way to captivate an audience with herundeniable speaking voice and way with words. Tapanga James is indeed one of the most colorful women of our day.

The Extreme Phenom.
MESSAGE FROM THE MASTERMIND: Yeah, I didn't mean to write this much, but they made me split it up. Go figure :P

Robert Levy nodded as Tapanga sat their, looking rather pleased with the answer that she'd given. He raised the microphone up again and responded to Tapanga with yet another question.

?STRONG>robert LEVY: "Some very, very powerful words from our returning diva tonight, folks." Fans pop. "A very profound answer, Tapanga." She nodded. "You mentioned how you wanted to work your way through the Women's ranks. This coming Fight Night, this Friday, I might add, you will be starting on your mission against Paris Jior, who like you, is a working tag-team competitor with her boyfriend Temper. They've both been doing considerably well, and previously you expressed that when you looked at Paris, you saw that she reminded you of yourself when you were just starting out. Could you elaborate on that, and just give us your thoughts about taking this plunge into the WGEF rankings again?"

Tapanga smirked. She liked that question. She leaned back in her chair and raised her microphone. Another thing would always remain the same, the fact that Tapanga James always had this insane drive to be the best in the business that she could possibly be. She began to answer the questions.

?tapanga JAMES: "Well, what I meant about Paris Jior is just what I said. I had the same attitude as she did when I came out on the scene, so willing to just go out there and kick ass. She's a fresh face, and it's great to see someone so eager like her. But, the thing of the matter is, no one's career is perfect. She wants to have this fantastic record and be unbeatable, so glorious and all of that. However, she doesn't realize that it ain't all sunshine and glitter. She's got all these high hopes, just like I did, but I didn't have a perfect start either. I paid my dues. I fought like hell to get where I am today. Miss Jior thinks she's on a roll, but. . ." She laughs. ". . .I hate to rain on her parade -- wait, no, I'd love to! It's my job to stop her winning streak before it even freakin' begins. I don't have anything against her, personally, it's all in good business." She smirks again. "Let's face it, while she's got quite an impressive style of wrestling, but there ain't no way that skinny little thing could cause me any serious harm!" She laughs. "Seriously, bitch could use a few Big Mac's or something, because the last time I saw her wrestle, those ribs jutting out made me feel like I was watching a Concentration Camp documentary. I mean, seriously. She's got a bright future ahead of her, if she don't starve to death before she gets to the match! Paris, if you're listening, do me a favor, and eat, because I wanna win my match because I'm awesome, not because you're lacking stuff in your diet, and wanna be stupid. There's a pattern for everything, and Paris will soon learn, in her budding career, that things don't always go the way you want them, too, and at Fight Night, she'll get her first lesson in it, right from the hands of a freakin' veteran, my friends." Fans pop. "And that's me!" Smiles cheekily. "Don't even get me going on that Temper dude, either, if anyone ever tries to compare Temper and Paris to me and Dylan, I will so slap them silly -- you're spared this time, Rob. It's like putting apples against. . .peas. It's like putting a ship against a little tug boat. Temper and Priss Paris started off as a hook-up job after my friend Brooke Adams stepped out on Temper, so Paris got her sloppy seconds. Surprising, huh?" She shruggs. "Temper and Paris aren't even a real team. Me and Dylan have been competing together for years. I'm not even going to continue on, because I've justified it. Just don't even, no matter who you are, get it in your head that Jior and Temper will contend with the Renegadez, because if you do, you best just check yourself into a mental hospital right now, and save your family the pain of finding out firsthand that you're insane. Just drop it. Anyway, my whole thoughts on this match are simple. I know I can win, I know I am going to win, and I know how to win. I've fought women like Paris before, and I've won everytime. Don't forget people, that in WGEF, I only have lost one match, and one match only -- one that was a screwjob, mind you, so don't forget, Paris, who you're dealing with. I'm still one of the best in the WGEF. You're not, sweetie. Sorry." Fakes a pouty face. "Don't get me wrong, I know Paris has spark, but I won't take her too seriously, nor will I underestimate her. I'll go out to the match with all I got, and give it all I got, fight her like I've never fought anyone before, and in the end, just like every match I'm involved in, the bitch will fall, and I will stand tall." Smiles again. "Paris Jior, you're all on a high because you're doing well, but don't forget what you're dealing with, and never forget the most important thing that everyone else has forgotten when they've fought me. . .I'm Tapanga James, my dear."

She smiled from ear-to-ear as the fans screamed in support of what Tapanga had said. Obviously, they were behind her in this match this Friday. They liked Paris alright, but not enough to ignore their devotion for Tapanga. She'd been a fan-favorite for the longest of time, and still is. They loved her and she adored them as well. She knew she'd never get to where she is today without them taking a liking to her, and encouraging her. In the midst of the cheering frenzy, Robert Levy spoke up again with a jubilant smile.

?STRONG>robert LEVY: "Thank you, Tapanga, for your opinions, yet again. You always have a unique outlook on things. Don't forget folks, to tune in Friday night to see the match between Paris Jior and the returning Tapanga James! Thank you, and good night. And again, folks, I give you, Tapanga James!"

The fans erupt in another bout of cheers and supporting notions as "She's A Rebel" blasts over the sound system again. Tapanga stood up from her seat, and sat the microphone down. Robert and Tapanga shook hands, bidding farewell before Tapanga ran to the side of the ring, taunting to the fans. She smiled broadly before climbing the nearest turnbuckle and simply gazing at the fans with a sense of pride and accomplishment. She struck another wacky pose for the camera as the scene fades out to black and then to another commercial break.
