Paris had the upper hand on Phoenix in their match Tuesday night as both of them battled to boost their name just a bit higher than its current status. Paris had just climbed to the top of the turnbuckle and was awaiting for Phoenix to return to a vertical base. Once Phoenix was back up, Paris came off the top with a Shining Wizard and once again put Phoenix on her back. She rolled Phoenix up for a pin but Phoenix fought out of it after a two count. While on the mat, Phoenix had to motivate herself in her mind.

Phoenix (In Her Mind) Come on Phoenix! You got this! You can beat this girl! Fight!

Once both of them got back to their feet, Phoenix and Paris would start exchanging blows. More times than none, you were not going to beat Phoenix at a fist brawl. But hey, lucky for her, Paris wanted to try her luck. After getting the best of Paris, Phoenix caught her with a boot to the gut and set her up for her finisher. One Flames of Fury [Canadian Destroyer] and a three count later, Phoenix had her hands raised in victory as she had just defeated Paris Jior.

x~. After The Match...

"World To Burn" by Revelation Theory hit for the second time that night and Phoenix celebrated in the ring for a bit. She eventually rolled out under the bottom rope and headed up the ramp way as the fans cheered. Now of course, that would raise a bit of a question in the minds of many. Why were these fans cheering her when she was supposed to be a heel. Well, she was like a TNA version of a heel. They hated her because of the things she did in the business sometimes, but they still cheered for her because she was such an awesome competitor in the ring. So that would definitely explain that. Moving on, she headed back through the curtain taking a deep breath. She always loved her matches. Of course, winning was an added bonus to them all but she just loved competing. As she turned down the hall to where her locker room was located, she grabbed a bottle of water from a table along the way. She uncapped the top and tossed it aside. She started to gulp down the water until she was cut off by Kris Dawson. Phoenix stopped and lowered her water preparing to talk.

Kris Dawson Phoenix...first of all I would like to congratulate you on your win tonight against Paris Jior.

Phoenix Thanks.

She took another swig of her water before lowering it again. She had worked up a little sweat out there, but the water was working for her.

Kris Dawson So, after beating Paris Jior one time this week, how do you feel about facing her later on in the week on Fight Night?

Phoenix Well first of all, it feels damn good to beat her. I mean, she went about her whole little nice approach to the whole ordeal as if she was Barack Obama or something. She is not him. She is not in the same type of profession that he is in. In his campaign, it was fine for him to keep things calm and as positive as possible. But see, he had to win over people with his words. Here, it is very different. Although she can speak as positive as she wants with her words, when she enters in that ring out there, it is nothing positive about it. You go out there and you have to fight. It is all about surviving out there and you are not going to survive basing your offense on the buddy/buddy system. I am sorry but that is just the harsh reality of it all. Therefore, I saw no need to try to wish her any luck. I just stuck to the truth and unfortunately, the truth is going to hurt one or the other every time...usually, that is not me. Now as far as facing her again this week, I have no problem with that. But as you can see, I chose not to mention that at all prior to this first match with her...and for good reason. I had to make sure I defeated her before I got on about what my plans are for Fight Night.

Kris Dawson Well considering that you did win, I imagine they will be the same?

Kris asked this assumingly seeing that her tactics did work the first time.

Phoenix Actually, no.

Kris Dawson No?

Phoenix No.

Phoenix shook her head no to make sure she clearly understood that this was no.

Phoenix You see, this is a different match which means I have to go about it differently. And since it is different, I have to also fight it differently. I have more to focus on now than just Paris. Now I can understand you thinking that I would go into this with the same strategy as the last match, and you are partially correct. I can imagine that Paris does not have the same spirit that she had going into this first match. Obviously she must realize that she has to try something different going into the match with me this time. Her spirits are probably just shattered. Hell, she might not even show. Face facts here, she stopped even talking after I picked my game back up to where it would normally be. When I was first working on promoting our match, I admit that it was not quite what you would expect from Phoenix. The more I thought about it, the less I felt about it. I truthfully was just not feeling the match at first and then I got right back into my competitive mindset, and we see the results. Now of course, I really am expecting her to come out and blab about how she had an off night or something. She might tell you that even the greatest lose sometimes. Who knows, things vary with these people these days. But the crazy thing about that is the more that they change, the more they stay the same. Any excuse she can come up with, I am sure I have heard it several times before. The bitter truth of it all is that one of us just so happens to be better than the other on any day, not just tonight, and the sooner the other party realizes that, the better off she probably will be.

Kris Dawson So it is probably pretty safe by now to say that you have Paris's number, however, it seems like you are paying little to no attention to the third person in the match, Trishelle Jameson.

Phoenix immediately starts laughing. She ended had to bend over and slap her knee a few times. She looked up at Kris who looked very serious about her question and was wondering what was the funny part of what she said.

Phoenix Wait for it....wait for it....

She laughed a bit more.

Phoenix You are so right about that. See, Trishelle is a joke to me. She is far more than a joke than Paris. Why do I say this? Just look at her for a minute here. A few weeks ago, Kaylee came out to the ring and pretty much put all the women in the back on notice that it was time to step it up. Of course I have almost spoken about me personally as far as stepping up is concerned, so, we do not even have to go there. At any rate, once yours truly came out, I seemed to draw a bit more attention out there, the likes of which would include Trishelle. And now, that crazy bitch was as new to the company as I was at the time, and she comes out talking like she has been knowing Phoenix for years. Fact of the matter is, she does not know Phoenix at all. So at all is like the kicker there. She tries to accuse me of name infringement on a real main eventer here? See, that there is exactly what puts a lot of these people in trouble now. Really, even outside of the wrestling business, that puts a lot of people in trouble. That little device on their face known as their mouth gets them into a lot of trouble. People always want to run their mouths writing these checks that they know their asses cannot cash. That is exactly what she did. And do you know what happens when you write a check your ass cannot cash Kris?

Kris thinks for a minute.

Kris Dawson Ummmmm, it bounces?

Phoenix Exactly! And do you know what happens to checks when they bounce?

Kris Dawson You end up having to pay eventually with added fees in.

Phoenix Exactly! See if she would have sat back there in that makeup chair just a bit longer and shut the fuck up, she would not be in the predicament she is in now.

Kris Dawson How do you know she was in the makeup chair?

Phoenix That is about all I could think of for how she looked. I just blamed that ugly face of hers on a makeup mishap or something. Truly she does not look like that on purpose?

Kris looked at Phoenix unsure of how to answer that question. She did not want to make the wrong comment and have Trishelle coming after her. She was not a wrestler after all, and she imagined she would have quite a tough time defending herself.

Phoenix I can understand you not being able to answer that. It gave me some trouble too. But anyway, she has gotten herself into a pretty bad predicament...well several to be exact. First she got booked into a match with Kaylee. One of the first things she had to say was, and I quote, "my first match here and I am already in the main event. Take that Phoenix and Angela." Now I cannot speak for Angela but Phoenix does not give a damn about her being in the main event. Turns out the silly bitch lost the match anyway, the very main event she was so happy about debuting in. First of all Trishelle, everyone should win their debut match. Not everyone does...as you definitely already know, but they should. Now if you were actually a great competitor like myself, you would understand that it does not matter if you are in the opening match, second, third, fourth, main event, or even if they happen to stick you in a dark match. Fact of the matter is, you do your damn best regardless of what order your match falls in. Instead, you wanted to have an orgasm over the fact that you got booked in the main event. Let me just crush your dreams a bit more. You were only in the main event because you fought a main eventer. You were not there because of anything that you did, realize that. Moving back to you talking about me and copyright infringement. I suppose you were trying to say I stole Phoenix Winterborn's name? No, no, no sweets. I have gone by the name for several years now and have done a hell of a lot more than him in my claim to fame. He is a damn man, and I have held titles that he still only dreams of. Added to that, I have dominated my own division, so you do the damn math there. Then you ask yourself if Phoenix really needs to infringe anything or anyone. Just maybe you should start some infringing to hopefully get your career to actually even take off, let alone take after someone else. As I said, running your mouth has gotten you into trouble several times. You got your ass kicked last week. I actually requested that I be put into a match with you and now you have to pay for that check your ass cashed. The collector is coming Friday to Fight Night and your ass is about to have to pay...with your blood. Maybe after I put my foot down your damn throat, you will learn that you might want to shut that mouth of yours. So is there anything else Kris?

Kris looked on for a second trying to take in all that Phoenix had said. She almost wondered if she should have brought Trishelle's name up. But since she was in the match, she had to mention her. Kris cleared her throat a bit wanting to laugh, but she held it in.

Kris Dawson Well we did forget to mention the fact that this is a Hardcore Match.

Phoenix grinned. It was as if that just lit her up.

Phoenix I know.

She grinned even harder, if that was even possible.

Phoenix What these two ladies must realize about that is that one of my few aliases is the Enchantress of Hardcore Brutality. Phoenix is very hardcore. It is bad enough fighting me under a normal set of rules. But now you are going to throw the rules out and give Phoenix weapons? That makes it even more dangerous for both of these women. If I had my way, I would not even have Paris show up Friday. I have already taken care of her. Just leave me and Trishelle there to handle some unfinished business. I have a few "tricks" that I can show her with the weaponry they scatter around the ring out there. But oh well, if Paris shows, it is just more of a messed up week for her than it already is now. Does not really matter to me.

Phoenix shrugs.

Kris Dawson Well Phoenix, I sure thank you for your time and I wish you the best of luck in that match.

Phoenix nodded as she walked off finishing off her water and tossing it to the side. She made it to her locker room where her fiancé was waiting in there for her. He had been ringside for her match and quickly made it back to her room before she did. She was usually stopped by someone every time, so it was not too hard to beat her there. He hugged her when she came in.

Dimitri Hey little red...good job out there.

She looked up at him as he was a bit taller than she was.

Phoenix Thank you, I am a bit sweaty though.

He shrugged.

Dimitri Does not bother me. I have felt your sweat before.

She kissed him.

Phoenix Well yes, that is very true.

Dimitri So I understand that you are supposed to be facing Paris again this Friday?

Phoenix nodded.

Phoenix Yes...her and another girl named Trishelle Jameson.

Dimitri That the one you were telling me you wanted to face in a match?

Phoenix Yeah I actually requested it and Paris just so happened to be thrown into the match as well. I am not sure why since we were already scheduled to fight before this match was made, but it will not make much of a difference. Beating her two times in one week is fine with me as well. It just sucks to be her is about all I can sum it up as. Anyway, you ready to head out...we got to head for Mississippi.

Dimitri Yeah, should not be that far away.

Phoenix Yeah.

Phoenix grabbed her few things that were out of place and shoved them in her bag. Dimitri grabbed her bags for her and they headed on. She decided to just shower when she got to the hotel...that way, she could get on out of the arena...and so Dimitri could join her too...but we would not elaborate on that part too much. We will leave that for SVD.
