Did I accidentally stumble onto Sesame Street or are the Jarrett’s a little too much like an after special school special? I swear every time they are together they’re giving each other a pep talk about something or another. Like it’s going to magically any of them a lick of talent. Not that it’s going to help them stand an ice cube’s chance in hell. I mean, just listen to them once and you will see where I’m coming from. Take Amy and Michelle for example. Both of them have a brain the size of a flea and yet because they happen to be related to one of biggest washed up has-beens to ever grace a wrestling ring and that suddenly makes them great. The just goes to show exactly how dense some people can be. These girls haven’t even had a match yet and they’re walking around here like they’re the greatest thing since television. It’s time those girls got an up close view of how terrible they really are, I can promise them that. The only thing that concerns me is Bridgette. Let’s face it the girl and I are far from being on close terms. In fact…we despise each other. Which makes me wonder why she came down and offered to be my partner. Of course there is always the huge possibility that they irritate her just as much as they do me. Or perhaps she sees me as nothing but a joke like pretty much everyone else around here does. Who knows? I’ve never cared to figure out Bridgette and I don’t intend to start now.  I’ll definitely be keeping one eye open just in case.

The scene opened in the backstage and as it does we see a black limo pulls into the parking lot of the Bancorp South Arena, where this week’s edition of WGEF Friday Night Fight Night is set to air live the following night in front of a sold out crowd. The limo pulls through the parking lot coming to a stop in front of the rear entrance doors. As the engine goes quiet the left front door opens and a middle aged man dressed in a plain black suit with a white dress shirt steps out. He walks around to the back pulling the door open. A pair of women’s legs emerge from inside touching the pavement below. Moments later the occupant slides the rest of the way out rising to a standing position. The camera slowly pans up their legs revealing the person to be Serenity Chambers Reso. Serenity stretched her legs and straightened her baby blue T-shirt as she waited for the limo driver to return with her gym bag. A few moments pass and the driver returns carrying her black gym bag. Serenity takes the bag from him draping it over her shoulder. She offers him a polite smile and a thank you before turning around and heading towards the building. A few moments later she finally reaches the building and is stopped by the security guard on duty. She reaches into the front pocket of her gym bag for her company id. Seconds later she pulls out the small plastic card and hands it to him. He looks on the clipboard in his hands and searches for Serenity’s name. Finding it towards the bottom of the page he crosses it off handing the card back to her. She shoves it back into the pocket of her gym bag as she heads inside. She stopped at the check in desk for her locker room assignment and to see if Jason had arrived yet. After being told that her locker room was number 423 she was told that Jason hadn’t arrived yet but scheduled any minute. Serenity nodded in acceptance as she took the key and headed on her way. She made her way down the long hallway going almost to the end. Finally finding room 423 she stuck the key in the lock turning it all the way till she could hear it click. She twisted the knob slightly pushing it inward and making her way inside. Serenity gave the room a small look over as she tossed her bag on the couch. It wasn’t the best but it would do. It wasn’t like she was going to be spending all day in there. She reached into the main section of her bag pulling out a metallic pink iPod, clipping it on the waistband of her jeans she lowered herself on the floor to start on her stretches. After a couple of minutes she found a song that suited her fancy and pressed play. As the song started to play through her headphones she leaned towards the right, stretching out her right leg. She was so consumed with her pre training stretching that she was unaware that the door to her locker room had opened and her husband Jason Reso had entered the room. Jason walked up behind her, crouching down on the balls of his feet. He brushed her long blonde hair away from her neck moving his face towards her in an attempt to give her a kiss on the neck. Serenity pulled away swinging her hand back almost hitting him. Jason backed out of the way just in time falling on the floor behind her as Serenity’s hand swung into dead air.

Recognizing the sound of her husband’s voice Serenity turns around to see Jason plopped down on the floor behind her. She couldn’t help but laugh as he slowly got back to his feet. After he gets to his feet he reaches down helping Serenity to hers.

Not unless you’ve become a woman since the last time I seen you and changed your name to either Amy or Michelle Jarrett.

Jason let out a slight chuckle.

Lucky for me I haven’t, at least not that I know of anyway. I take it those are your opponents for tomorrow night?

Well of course. I don’t bring their names up because I get a thrill out of talking about them. The only time I would get a thrill out of talking about them is if they suddenly fell off the face of the earth never to be seen again.

Can you blame me? They haven’t done a damn thing since they stepped foot in the place and yet they walk around here acting they’re hot shit. And for what? Because their last name is Jarrett? Whoopie freaking do! If I were them I wouldn’t exactly go around bragging about that. The Jarrett’s are far from being one of the most dominating forces in the wrestling industry. Their uncle has had their asses handed to them so many times it’s not even funny anymore and yet these twits run around acting like the best thing to step foot in a wrestling ring. Either they are seriously delusional or very naïve.

It wouldn’t surprise me. Neither one of them appear to be very bright, a burnt out light bulb has more of a spark than either of them do. That interview they did with Jessica the other day just proves it. This is their very first match and to hear them talk about it, they’ve already got the match won.

I could be like them and not take it. (Jason looks at her confused) Jessica asked them if they were going to accept me and Bridgette being confident at beating them and their marvelous comeback was they weren’t going to take it. Who the hell says that kind of crap anyway? My God, they sound like they’re on Sesame Street or something. For all I know their promos are going to be sponsored by letters or they’re going to be interviewed by Elmo.

You’ve heard them Jason. The only people who go around acting like that either have the brains of a five year old or are a few fries short of a happy meal. If they’re not trying out for Sesame Street then it’s definitely got to be the latter of the two. For Pete’s sake, every time any of them have a match they all sit around giving each a pep talk. Are they really that pathetic that they need to be convinced that they have enough talent to beat anyone?

Considering the source, I wouldn’t be surprised if they are. Look at how many times their uncle has been defeated by practically everyone in TNA. Why do you think he’s trying to build up his nieces confidence that they’re going to beat you and Bridgette? Even he knows they don’t stand an ice cube’s chance in hell.

Of course not! This is just a one time thing, believe me. I can’t help that I found it amusing that she brought out that their family is full of nothing but losers and they got all pissy about it. She practically said the same things I did, she just wasted more of her breath on them. Which apparently hearing it a second time got through to their pea sized brains and pissed them off. If they can’t handle the truth then they really should just quit now and get it over with cause they’re going to be hearing a lot more of it as time goes on.

Before Serenity could respond there was a soft tapping at her door. Jason made his way over to the door and pulled it open. On the other side was one of the company’s many stage hands. He said that Kris sent him to ask if she would be interested in an interview about her match. Serenity let out a sigh nodding in his direction. He told her he’d let Kris know to be expecting her and disappeared back into the hall letting the door close behind him.

Before Jason could say a word Serenity leaned over giving him a soft kiss on the lips before pulling back moments later. She made her way over to the door grabbing the handle and pulls it towards her. She turns around blowing Jason one last kiss before disappearing into the hallway.
