For a moment ~ the elusiveness of you
was mine to enjoy in exhultation,
so far beyond rare expectation.

The magic of you surrounded me
and upon reflection, I know you
were waiting for that someone to
share your beauty of surroundings,
the serenity in your seclusion.
Worn down and tired, but with
palacial potential, you called above
the hush of moving water ~ the
gentle sound of your voice ~ the
spectacular tableau of your vista,
made impossible, your departure.

Within my heart, I will always remember
you, as the only place ~ I wish to be.

This is about a villa we viewed last July in Ste Maxime, but because we haven't sold our house in England, we didn't dare buy, as purchase is a ten day option there and you are locked in, or you can back out during legal procedings and loose a massive deposit. It was the place and position of our dreams and now we find it is sold, so this is a relative piece to that scenario.

That particular choice will not ever be ours again. Thanks Stella and Peggy, Zy
