They say there is a lesson in every experience.For me , this has proved too true. All, experts agree, that abuse is founded on "power" i too also believe this, but what lies behind this search for power over another human being?. After deep thought , i have come to the conclusion it is fear...... fear of not being in control of any situation, by this i mean the abuser feels so very inadequate as a human being, that in order to appear to the world as a "normal" functioning person, the abuser desperatly needs to hide his/her fear, this is done by the use of "masking" their fear by the use of intimidation, in either their words or actions. In no sense am i excusing this behaviour , but simply stating it as a means of understanding the pathology of power, it explains the need to "own" either a country or a person, this country or person then becomes a "trophy" to show the World " look at me, i,m "normal, " i own this , that ect;, i am fearless........... rusty |
