I am fighting back
I'm on my way
No more will I be denied

I am fighting back
To face the day without worry
Or a care

No longer standing in the background

no more of my life
With you will I share

I am fighting back
I have a right to be
to do the things I want to do
just to live, breathe, be free

I am fighting back
and I no longer give a dam
what you say or do
for my dear I have found
I no longer love you

I am fighting back
Though it might take time
I have friends that I can call
So you see I don’t really need you
In my life at all
