This mail is personal, it,s about abuse and the dissabled woman.Often , we are a group that society forgets, one of the things we in pow have always up -held is, if your suffering abuse , physical or emotional, get out of dodge. Now , i am dissabled, to sit here takes 2pain killers , a wrist support and cushions, i have never ever spoken of this out of pride and to hold on to my dignity, i suffer from full blown athritis , as do soooooo many , i,m not special , or different i,m me. But ... what i,m trying to get over here is the amount of effort it takes simply to come online for many dissabled abuse sufferers, as to ..... walking out, .....oh believe me we would love to, but how if your dissability does not allow you to walk much further than the gatr, what if you cannot drive, and how many refuges do you know that can cope or have facilities to help the dissabled abuse sufferer?as i said this was a difficult mail , so why am i telling you, ???? all i ask is that you give a little time to think about this, think of how you would cope, with love and respect judy  |
