De-Stress Bath - How To
By Cait Johnson, Assistant Producer, Care2 Healthy Living Channels.

Run yourself a warm bath, add this sweet-smelling mixture, and soak. This soothing remedy makes use of sea salt, a time-honored way to detoxify yourself on every level, and specific essential oils for grounding and relaxation.

De-Stress Bath is easy to make and the recipe yields enough to share with a friend. We could all use a little help.

Sea salt is a natural and healthy alternative to overly-processed commercial salt. You can find sea salt at your local natural foods store.

Be sure to use all-natural essential oils, not synthetic or perfume oils which often contain petroleum products and can be toxic. Essential oils are long-lasting and have thousands of uses, well worth the price.

INGREDIENTS

2 cups sea salt
3 drops lavender essential oil
3 drops sandalwood essential oil
3 drops rosewood essential oil

Mix oils with salt and store in a pretty glass jar or screw-top container. To use, simply add a handful to your bath.
