Endurance: High Sierras

Leaving behind friends, family, cell phones, television, mp3 players and electricity, 10 guys and 10 girls from all across America will join together to compete on Endurance: High Sierras. Not knowing what adventures and challenges await them, they will have to overcome the pain and survive the Elimination Game just to qualify as one of the 14 official Endurance: High Sierras contestants. This year the kids will not only have to face some of the most grueling challenges yet, but they'll have to use their wits and make enduring friendships in order to last in this exciting new season!

13 Pieces of Endurance
To win Endurance: High Sierras, teams must collect pyramid pieces representing 13 essential inner qualities: Strength, Heart, Courage, Perseverance, Luck, Trust, Leadership, Discipline, Knowledge, Commitment, Teamwork, Ingenuity and Friendship. The first team to collect all 13 pieces, wins the game.

Temple Missions
Each week the kids compete in either an "Endurance" or a "Temple Mission" game. Each Endurance Mission is an opportunity to win one of the 13 pyramid pieces. The winners of Endurance Missions are also awarded the dreaded Samadhi, which gives them the ability to handicap another team in the next Temple Mission. But be careful whom you give the Samadhi to! As this year's Endurance contestants will find out: with great power comes great responsibility. Winners of Temple Missions have the ultimate control; they get to choose any two teams to send to the Temple of Fate. Two teams go up ... only one will return. So the winners must be careful whom they send to Temple, because one team is coming back ... and they might seek revenge!

Temple of Fate
Winners of the Temple Missions choose two teams to send to the "Temple of Fate" where a head-to-head showdown — a strategic game of Wood-Water-Fire — guarantees one team two more days on Endurance: High Sierras and sends the other team home for good. The game at the Temple of Fate takes these competitors beyond a simple test of skill and physical ability to a complicated game of mind-bending strategy.

When choosing two other teams to send to the Temple of Fate, the team in control must choose wisely, because their choice will impact the rest of the competition. When a team loses in the Temple of Fate they're out of the game, but they get to send their pyramid pieces back to the team of their choice, potentially giving that team a sizable advantage.

Final Challenge/Episode
Hold on to your seats, because every moment of Endurance: High Sierras comes down to this! The winning team will be crowned the Endurance: High Sierras champion, and with that title, comes the trip of a lifetime to Hawaii.
