| | Adrian, 15 This dedicated Endurance fan has watched every episode since the series began, and was absolutely convinced that one day he'd be one of the 20 competitors. Adrian is very outgoing, definitely the opposite of shy, but sometimes gets in trouble for poking fun at others. He will make sure not to go over the line during Endurance and hopes his big personality will help him come out on top! He and his family endured Hurricane Katrina, and he believes that after going through that tragedy, he can do anything. | | Aeriel, 14 Diversity describes Aeriel to a “T.” A star athlete in basketball and volleyball, Aeriel also loves to get “glammed up” for parties; she was once even a contestant at the Miss Dallas teen pageant. She can be bubbly and talkative, but she is also a math whiz. Aeriel plans on winning Endurance by being nice to everyone, not making any false promises, taking lots of notes, and allowing the chips to fall where they may. | | Alex, 14 This die-hard Red Sox fan, Division One baseball player and “A” student believes his enthusiasm is his biggest strength. He tackles everything with total commitment. That includes taking on sports like alpine ski racing and competitive swimming. He believes the key to winning is making strong alliances. He also believes he has what it takes to win because being the middle child has toughened him; his older brother picks on him, and his sister blames him for everything! | | Anna, 14 Anna may be from a small town, but her aspirations are very big. One of her biggest is to win Endurance! This competitive swimmer practices two hours a day and firmly believes that swimming has made her strong both physically and mentally — two pluses for the competition ahead. Anna adapts quickly to new environments; both her parents are international lawyers, and she has lived around the world in places as far-flung as the Middle East, Russia and Mexico. | | Aric, 15 Winning Endurance would be fulfilling a dream for this outstanding athlete. Besides excelling in track and field and bow hunting, Aric loves competing in power-lifting competitions. However, he believes that it will take more than just muscle to win the competition. His main goals are to compete with honesty, fairness and good teamwork. But don't let Aric's down-to-earth approach to playing Endurance fool you — this rough-and-tumble country boy is out to prove he can hang in this game with anyone! | | Cameron, 14 This fierce competitor believes he has proven to himself and others that he can do whatever he wants, including win Endurance. Not too long ago, he lost 40 pounds in three weeks to qualify for the football team. He is proud of this achievement and of his skill in other sports, including track, soccer, wake- boarding, water-skiing and extreme tubing. | | Cealey, 15 Whether it's pitching, playing first base or chasing fly balls in the outfield, Cealey is a star athlete on her high-school softball team. However, she credits swimming and running with her golden retriever Cody for helping her to get in shape for Endurance. This fierce competitor also plays on two traveling soccer teams and refers to the soccer ball as man's greatest invention. But that's just one side of Cealey. She also competes in beauty pageants and holds the titles of Miss Personality and Miss Tallahassee in her home state. She's a natural-born winner and plans on making Endurance her next great achievement. | | Connor, 15 Connor has been a loyal Endurance fan since the show began and wants to become the first “band geek” to win the challenge. He acknowledges that he is not a great athlete but is convinced he can win the game by using his street smarts and intellect. He is also proud of his leadership skills, having been voted president of his freshman class. Music is his real passion; he plays electric guitar and the baritone saxophone in his high school's marching band. Connor believes he got great training for Endurance at band camp, where they had to march and play their instruments 12 hours a day for a solid week! | | Dakota, 15 Dakota is a big Jim Carrey fan and shares his hero's ability to make people laugh. But comedy is not all he does well — he plays soccer as well as lacrosse and claims he does his best work under pressure. This should serve him well on Endurance. Winning is everything to Dakota — even more important than making friends on the show. Dakota's a very talkative guy, but there's one sure way to make him shut up — show him spiders and other insects. He's deathly afraid of them. Hopefully, he won't encounter any during the competition! | | Darci, 15 Darci is proud of her academic record at school — she has gotten straight “As” for the past three years! But she does more than just exercise her brain. She likes to keep in shape by exercising to a workout video each day, in addition to shooting hoops in her backyard and playing soccer. Darci avoids any kind of drama, and considers herself to be a peacemaker among her friends, cracking jokes to lighten otherwise tense moments. This will be a good skill to bring to Endurance. | | Garret, 13 At 13 years old, Garret is the youngest kid on Endurance, but don't think his age will be a handicap for this straight “A” student. When it comes to competition, Garret considers himself a “monster” and says being the youngest of six has made him tough. His favorite sport is lacrosse, but he also enjoys skiing and playing soccer. He looks forward to meeting 19 new people and spending time in a rustic setting for several weeks without any modern conveniences. He thinks his fellow contestants may underestimate him because of his age, but this might be his secret advantage! | | Isaac, 15 Isaac has a strong personality. No matter what the task at hand, whether it's football or rock climbing, Isaac loves the competition and always is focused on winning. He deals with pressure by thinking positively and imagining himself being successful. He firmly believes that if you have a vision, you can succeed and he intends to bring this focus to competing on Endurance. He is excited to travel to a new place, even if he has to rough it for a while without TV. | | Kelsey, 16 Athletic and intelligent, Kelsey has an adventurous spirit and prefers that people like her for her intelligence rather than her looks. She is also serious about sports; back home she's on the swim team, is a member of the varsity drill dance team, and has been training hard for a breast cancer three-day, 60-mile race. When it comes to pressure, Kelsey works best when there's a time crunch and people are counting on her. She feels she has the right combination of traits and skills to win Endurance. | | Kristine, 15 Kristine says cheerleading has done a lot for her, including making her physically fit, mentally strong and capable of dealing with pain. This self-described clumsy girl knows all about sport injuries firsthand and is no girlie girl. She's broken her ankle twice, has had numerous black eyes, and acquires cuts and bruises on a daily basis. To win Endurance, she will do whatever it takes to get to the top. | | Lilly, 15 This excellent student and athlete has a 4.0 GPA in school, is two years ahead in math, and has received the highest marks in gym class. Her next challenge is to win Endurance! In addition to her wall of trophies, her team's outstanding performance on the soccer field, and a long-term obsession with Endurance, she has yet another talent — singing. Lilly and her two younger sisters have a singing group called “The Brown Sisters.” Lilly says that although she is a tough competitor, she still strives to “always do what's right and stay true to herself.” | | Martina, 15 Martina is bubbly, vivacious and energetic. She is very athletic and, at 6 feet 1 inch, hard to miss when participating in sports like track, basketball and skateboarding. But she is also a good student, having made straight “As” all last year. Martina is very determined and attributes this to being raised by a single mother. Because they moved quite frequently due to her mother's career, Martina is accustomed to adjusting to different people in various situations. She believes this will help her to win Endurance and says that, in her mind, the tougher the challenge, the better. | | Max, 14 Among Max's diverse talents are his ability to play basketball, the guitar and a mean game of chess — and he can use a skateboard to walk! Although he admits he is not very athletic, he believes he has a particular talent to accommodate for this and for his short stature of 5 feet 1 inch — a gift for gab. His strategy for winning Endurance is to make friends with the most athletic and physically strong players. That way, if they don't see him as an obvious threat, he can fly under the radar and grab the top spot! | | Rafael, 15 Growing up in a tough area of the Bronx has given this straight “A” student the drive and the stamina he'll need to compete in Endurance. Recently elected to the National Honor Society, Rafael is a grade ahead of his peers in school. But don't classify him as a geek. Rafael uses his athletic skills to play soccer and basketball, but he also finds time to let loose and have fun. He plans on winning Endurance by using a combination of his intellect, persuasive nature and drive to do whatever it takes to win. He wants to prove to everyone that once he puts his mind to something, there's nothing he can't do. | | Stefanie, 15 Her favorite saying is that “good things come in small packages.” At 5 feet tall, Stephanie could easily come across as physically weak. But her fellow contestants had better not underestimate this spunky, energetic and athletic girl with a big personality. Stephanie is a star soccer player, competing on her school team, a traveling team and a club team. She can't wait to take part in Endurance and show everyone her leadership skills. She also wants to show her fellow contestants how she can blow air out of her eyes — weird but true. | | Taylor, 14 It won't be hard for Taylor to adapt quickly to her rustic Endurance environment and a group of strangers. This outgoing teen has moved many times in her young life, and thus has a knack for quickly making new friends wherever she goes. Her winning strategy for Endurance is to befriend the other players and get them to look to her as a leader. Taylor's all-around athletic skills and strong sense of competition will be helpful too. | | source: official DK site
