Growing up in a tough area of the Bronx has given this straight “A” student the drive and the stamina he'll need to compete in Endurance. Recently elected to the National Honor Society, Rafael is a grade ahead of his peers in school. But don't classify him as a geek. Rafael uses his athletic skills to play soccer and basketball, but he also finds time to let loose and have fun. He plans on winning Endurance by using a combination of his intellect, persuasive nature and drive to do whatever it takes to win. He wants to prove to everyone that once he puts his mind to something, there's nothing he can't do.
