Note on the Medieval Era

 

The Medieval Era, also called the Middle Ages or the Dark Ages, lasted approximately from 350 to 1450 AD. Historical figures and technology from later dates should not be brought into the RP. To make things a little easier in the GTI, some things are acceptable. When in doubt, ask a host.

 

     Running water: there is a bathroom in the inn, as well as a sink in the kitchen and at the bar.

     Refridgeration: there is an icebox in the kitchen

     Bar tap: included are various alcoholic beverages. This does not include carbonated drinks.

     Books: While books were not very common until after the invention of the movable type, in 1455, and even more so after the printing press, books are accepted and welcomed in the GTI. This does not include things like newspapers and magazines.

     Glass windows: The windows on the inn are made of clear glass.
