Happy Friday everyone!
It looks like a beautiful day in store here in the NW! Hope it's nice where YOU are.
Busy day scheduled here, too. I'm concerned about Lyle. He hasn't been feeling well lately - yesterday he was very quiet - and very "confused". After breakfast we headed out to the lab to get his weekly blood test - when we got almost to the office, he said "where are you going"? Told him we were going for his blood draw - he had totally forgotten it in the time it took to get from his apartment to the lab (about 2 miles away). We got inside - got his blood drawn and headed out to the car - in the middle of the hall, he stopped and said "we're going the wrong way" - and turned around and headed back to the lab. We were supposed to go to pick up a few things at the grocery store but he was feeling bad, so I just took him home and called and made an appointment with the doctor for today. So today is going to be another busy one for me. I'm really concerned about him - he's had one stroke - and with this memory problem, I'm concerned. I wish I could go in with him to the doctor - I go in with Ruth at her request. I'm probably with him more than anyone else, and I've noticed him going downhill a lot in the past few months.
I think Ruth also wants to go grocery shopping so it'll be a "running around" day for me. I'm glad it's Friday!
I want to try to get my living room and dining room carpets steam cleaned this week-end. I've felt so wiped out lately just haven't gotten much done around here. Guess old age has set in
- anyone that says these are "golden years" is absolutely crazy! Whatever YOU have on your agenda today, I hope it's a great day for you!
