It was such an awesome birth. I have never witnessed the birth of a baby ever and it is so overwhelming! Doug, my other daughter Laurie, Tam's best friend Sandy Morgan and me were present at his birth. Not one of us had a dry eye right after he was born. It was awesome! This is one proud Grandma. It has been decided that I will now be called Nana and that we won't call him DJ. As soon as Tamara saw him she said, "This is Douglas Robert...not DJ...we won't call him that. That is the name we all had dubbed him with.
Little Douglas has his Mommy's mouth and nose. lol...when Doug was holding him he looked at Tam and said...'He has my grump line...' We all laughed. Oh my! Talk about a gorgeous little guy!
She was in labour for 26 hours but very hard labour for about one and a half hours. She said the pain was worth it all when her gorgeous son was placed in her arms. Hahahaha...she looked at Doug and said..."You jerk, do you know how much I love you?" lol...that was right after she had Douglas Jr.

Have a great night ...I'm off to bed. I was up most of last night at the hospital and I am exhausted. lol...my eyelids almost stayed shut the last time I blinked...hahaha....
Now I am hearing voices...lol...my pillow is calling my name...hahaha...I must be overtired. I get so giddy...
