Besides the standard hardwood that I sell at my website, I'd like to start stocking Baltic Birch plywood. I can offer it the cheapest, if I buy large sheets of it, and then reduce it down to panels the size you scrollers would prefer.

But, I don't know your prefered sizes.

The question is, if I start stocking Baltic Birch plywood, what size panels should I stock?

It seems to me that most people print their patterns on the computer on 8x11 paper. I know I do. Most of the sheets I buy pre-cut are quite a bit larger. I think 9x12 would be a good size (allows for a border).

dirk, I purchase 1/8" and 1/4" Finnish birch plywood in 16 X 24 or 24 X 24 and 1/8" luan for the backer. Wildwood designs has moved to my home town so I don't have to pay shipping anymore. Mick

I use mostly 12 x 18 1/8" B/BB. Any derivative of that is ok too, e.g. 24 x 36, 12 x 36, 18 x 24, etc.

BTW B/BB Baltic Birch, 1/8" 60 x 60 sheets is up to about $11.00 a sheet in Richmond. How much in other areas scrollers?

Chase
