Hi everyone. I was once told by a gentleman here in Australia that he got his blades from a place in America called The Great American Scroll Saw Blade Company. Could someone please give me their web address I have tried everything to find it and I can't. Thank you in advance Marg

Hi Marg, don't know if Mike ships blades to Australia or not but maybe he can help you with the website. Go to www.mikesworkshop.com.   Mick

Hi Marg

I can also vouch for Mikes Workshop's Flying Dutchman blades - they are the best and Mike gives excellent service!

There is a brand of scroll saw blades that are carried by Advanced Machinery ( www.advmachinery.com ) called Scroll America. I use both these and the Flying Dutchman blades from Mike's workshop ( www.mikesworkshop.com ). Both are excellent blades. There are some blades that are unique to both sites.

Hi Rod,

The blades from AMI come from the same company in Germany where I get my blades.  Just a different name and a different price.

Marg I will vouch for the Flying Dutchman Blades. I bought a gross of them a couple years ago.. I do a lot of cutting.. I am now just starting to run low.. they last a long time and they are very durable. .. You won't be sorry with these blades.

If you're in Australia THE place to get your blades is Harris Traders.
I've been getting my blades from them for over a year.. you can't beat their prices or their service.  They get some of their blades from Mike, other's from Europe.
I have met them in person twice now and can really vouch for them.
Here's their e-mail addy:

tell them I send you :)

Hi Marg

Here is the link for the Scroll America blades http://www.advmachinery.com/default.asp?pg=bvd

I see from an prevoius reply from Mick that you have the link for Mike's work Shop.  I too have purchased blades from both sources and I am very satisified with both places.

Hi Everyone. Thank you all for your advise. I got some of the blades I wanted from Harris Traders in Australia, so that was a great help. Once again thank you.
