Hello all ive come up with a battle plan that I hope will keep us all in one piece

Since MSN decide to close there was only one option (multiply) not really an option one choice.

Now all the other sites have come up with programs to move us .

Now for the biggy the only way we accomplish a move is to make SSP restriction free so it can be moved .

I will need all your support on this move myself and the other moderators will strive to keep the boards clear of any spam but it is to be expected.

There is 3 places we are going to set up shop at this way we can see which works best and scrap the rest or keep 1 as a backup

Aimoo is only a 3 day move time.

MSN made it so it would be hard to move to any place other than of their chosing.

The site must be restriction free for the other web hosts to move us.

\I hope this doesnt get to many of you up in arms but its the only option we have.

They have tried time and time again to move without me opening the doors.

and it failed after the main pageone was able to get as far as 3 pages then it too quit.

I hope you are with me on this move.I await feedback before going ahead.

I await to hear from Gary and the other mods I will post again when we start this process.

I hope that everything goes well and I appreciate all of your hard work and efforts. I know that it's a real full time job, keeping up with a site and doing the weeding out and maintenance.

Unfortunately, I will not join any group or site on MULTIPLY. I've heard nothing good about their privacy practices. I wish you all the best and hope that things change later on for the best.

Can you explain what you mean by restriction free, please?
What three sites are you thinking of before scrapping 2?
What is Aimoo and is it a viable choice or just a "take what you can get" option?
Sorry to be so inquisitive but, I'd hate to see the site go under because of insider complaints on choices made and because of lack of understanding about what is being done.

Thanks again for the tremendous effort you have put into this for the group.

The only way for the programmers to move the entire site is to open the doors so to speak

the club is set as private invitations only to be able to move it the spiders and bots need unlimited access to the pages it must be made public

the patterns we can delete as I already have those moved.

as from what i can gather i need to remove all restrictions on joining and posting which means we have to be diligent on spammers for a short while once its moved we can go through and get rid of the unwanted and annoying ones.

MSN has it set up so its basically impossible unless we do it this way

Aimoo is one option the oters are

I am going to try to move SSP to all three then we can make a choice from that point the thing right now is we gotta move it or lose it all

I for one do not want to start over with all the information we have gardnered here for 6 years

I will do it if i must but egads i hope to skirt doing that.

Do what must be done, and keep us posted.

I'd also like to thank you and the other mods for all the hard work you've done in the past, and all that your doing now to keep this group together.

I'm here and waiting for the move, And I hope you don't lose all 6 years it would be such a waste. as far as the spam well that is the world we live in, and if I have to put up with offers from millionare girls with one leg shorter than the other so be it I am behind you and will help in anyway possible! thanks Howard
