I live in Arkansas and was in Little Rock this past Saturday at the river walk.  A lot of craft tables set up.  I talked with the person at the info booth and was told Fridays are Arts and Craft day.  I could get a spot for $10.00 for all day.

My question is, how much work should I take with me, should I display my protrait work and take orders, etc. etc.

Any input would be wecomed.

Kevin

Hey is this near the Clinton Library?  How much space do you get? I would think take as much variety and as much stuff as you  can  get and I would  try to sell more stuff and if you take some orders ok but as for memyownself when I set up I don't concentrate on orders. I  try to sell my stuff I bring and if someone orders something thats great too. I saw a thread somewhere here where the person puts portraits in a protector sheet  with a black construction paper behind it and then all the portraits in a notebook and the customers can thumb through the notebook and buy the portraits unframed as is. I really is gonna try that. Oh and be sure not to just lay everything flat on the table. Get some way of getting stuff up at different eye levels if you can. That sure seems to boost my sales some. Good luck and make it fun.  Glen

Yes this is right accross the highway from the Clinton Library.  I plan on cutting as much as possible between now and September.  At $10 a day I figure if I sold $40 worth I'm ahead $30.
