I have been checking e-bay for canopies and there is one guy that keeps listing 10X10 EZ Set Up canopies with 4 side curtains. The winning bids are all around $60 to $70 with a delivery/shipping charge of $60. The covers are 180 mill.
My question is are these worth it for craft/art shows?

no im my opion it is not if you go to sams club you can get a 10 by 20 for only 200.00 i know i have 4 of them i do alot of shows also and youll find out that if you go shows you never have enough room so for the extra 60 to 70 buxs you are better off with the bigger tent instead of haveing to end up buying 2 or 3 more tents and i personally think that the bigger tents are more stronger with thicker leggs and all those e z up got skinny leggs and let me tell you if you at a show with those and it gets real windy or bad weather i dont think they hold up as well just my thoughs                                     bill and sherri  scrollersden2

Howdy  I got an EZ Up from Sams a few years ago it is a 10 X 10 and came with 3 walls. Now what Sherri said about wind and bad weather is true, but I sure do like mine and I don't try to set up in bad weather anyway. I have been caught out when bad weather moves in though. We got some serious rain one time and the canoppy did fine but it is only 10x10 so you can expect to get wet at the edges of the tent. We got some good gusts at my last show and it did real good . we were set up on the street and I used  bags with sand in them and they worked great. But from personal experience let me tell you if you get stuck in a real bad thunderstorm with strong wind it doesn't matter what kind of set up you have the legs break and the canopies tear and your stuff gets blown across the street. That was a 3 day show a few years ago before I bought the ez up. Lucky for me I was taking down my set up each night, but lots of other folks suffered. Size is important  but if you go bigger than 10x10 at lots of shows you have to buy extra space for the bigger set up and spaces usually go 10 x10 or 12x12 or so for the 1 and 2 day shows. So to me because I only do about 6 or 7 shows a year I stick with 1 space and use shelves and stuff to give me room to put out my stuff. Good luck to you hope you get filthy rich  I am half way there I got the filthy part down,  gw

John,
I don't know anything about a canopy but have to let scrollpop know you had me laughing so hard I couldn't stop.
Thanks for the major giggles.
Sylvia
