Yes, every entertainer and Winnie the Poh
caricatures of every stripe are Trademarked and copyrighted under US and
International Laws
The practical realities are:
Make a few, nobody cares. Start mass producing them
to make big bucks and you'll have a swarm of screaming lawyers picking your
bones clean.
They are required by law to go after EVERY
infringement or lose their rights to protect their property rights.
So, just don't advertise it. No ebay, no
newspapers, no nothing. Go ahead and show and sell at craft fairs.
You will be violating their
copyrights.

I've noticed people mentioning selling portraits of Whinnie
the Pooh, Oz, Mickey Mouse, etc........aren't there legalities
and copywrites involved in using these images, or for that
matter, images of living people such as Britney Spears? Or
is it just that the craft fairs are just ignored when it comes
to nitpicking
laws? | |
