I also use Serif Page Plus. I've used their products for about 10 years. I used to do a lot of desktop publishing design for small businesses. Any version at or above PP8 PDF version will allow you to turn your brochure into a .pdf file should you want to bring it to a Copy Shop or printer for printing.
 
I find this program to be very veritile, unlike MS Word that does not allow you the range of creativity that a publishing program does.  Like Tom suggested, go to their website and download a free copy of one of their older versions to give it a try. Another plus is that you can design a website using thier software and then publish it as a webpage and it will write all the code on it's own.  I recommend this software to a lot of people. I even find it easier and more versitile than MS Publisher which is alo a popular program.
