contact churches or civic centers to find out if and when they craft tables and when you go to a craft show talk the vendors they always know when the next show is and which one is worth showing up for and how much traffic you get, you should try to get into shows that have a lot of advertising! the more poeple that know of a show the better you do, I make up little notecards on the puter and give them to people at work to let them know where I'll be and if you are doing good make it inotr a coupon for a dollar off on orders over 10 or so, and good luck with your business!
