I was wondering what is your best price/source for pre-made 8x10, 11x14 frames with glass?

I have been purchasing mine at Garden Ridge, but they seem to not stock as many as they used to. The solid wood frames are $3.99 for 8 x 10 and $9.99 for 11 x 14.

Anybody have better pricing?

Thanks,
Pat

Pat,
Get most of my premade frames at Walmart.
I believe the 8 x 10's are $3 and the 11 x 14's are $5.

Pat, I have looked at Wal-Mart for frames and had to go through about 20 of them to find a good one. I usually buy the framing material at a local lumber store and make my own. I don't put glass in them either. Mick.

Michael's occasionally has good sales. I picked up 12 wooden frames w/ glass for $2.00 each, half off. My locale just got a Hobby Lobby, too. Can get the same deal there.

I can occasionally find some at the 99 cent store. Yep! 99 cents. I use them mostly for western since they also have some wood detailing on them. 8X10

Hi Pat
Found thid place if you are after a box of frames. Their peices are $2.70 and 3.59 for 8x10 and 11x14 frames. They have a huge selection just make sure the recess is enough for the wood portrait.

Hope this helps

I agree. Wallmart is the best source for frames...

In addition most of them are deep enough to put in the wood and still be able to put on the backing....

You can sometimes find cheap frames at the goodwill store.  Its sorta hit and miss but they will on occasion have some very nice frames very cheap.  Dale
