What is the best and easiest software to transfer pictures onto wood. Is Adobe easier or Coral. I want to start making pictures in wood but don't know which software to purchase and I would like a nice and easy program to run on my pc.

Thanks so much

Opinions are like ... okay ... won't go there.  LOL  But in my opinion, the least expensive and easiest program to use would be Adobe Photoshop Elements v. 2.0 or higher.  It's all over eBay right now for $10 and up.  $90.00 direct from Adobe's website for v. 4.0.  I got my 2.0 version free with the purchase of my Wacom Graphics tablet.  Hopefully all the info helps you out.

Andy, how long did your learning curve last? What is your process? I've seen several of your patterns and I'd love to get close to that skill range. I'm fair, but not in the same ballpark. I've come across a few tutorials, but can't quite seem to get what I need. Any help would be appreciated.

I'm not sure if your last post was a compliment or question, but yes, and thank you.  LOL  I really like using Photoshop a LOT and am proud of most of my patterns.  A pattern is only as good as the picture provided to work with, but most, even small pics, I've been able to pick enough detail out to make an "acceptable" pattern.
