Hey all, It's been a while since I've posted anything at all. I thought I would brag little about the new saw that is on it's way. At the AL picnic May 6, I ordered my a new Excalibur 21". Seyco told me that it was on back order and expected it in in about 2 weeks. The demand has been so high for the saw I guess! I have recieved the call on Friday that the new saw is on it's way! I can not wait to try it out and get a good go at it. I really look forward to bevel sawing. Some of the baskets that I made last year gets sawed at an angle and it should beso much easier to have a FLAT square table! Right now I have a DeWalt that I use all the time...I still plan to keep it and add it to my collection. I have a RBI 16", Craftsman 16", Delta Q3, Hegner, DeWalt, and soon the EX-21! I plan on writing a review for the EX in an upcoming issue of SAW DUST! I'll post pictures of some of the new cutting as soon as I get done with some! Leldon |

Hi Leldon, I'm looking forward to hearing how your new EX-21 works! You've got quite a collection of saws. Send one or two my way if you need to clean your shop!!! Brenda |

Hey All, All I can say is WOW, the EX-21 is a great saw! I have some vibration but it is about the same as the DeWalt. My guess is the only reason it has any at all is because of the stand itself. Don't get me wrong though, it's a okay stand...homemade...a aplan was in SSW for it a couple of years ago. One of the great things is that the saw arm tilts and not the table. I LOVE this!! Last year for the craft show I did was making these baskets that scroller ltd sells. The are great baskets and really look hand woven. The baskets are cut out of one piece of wood and then think strips of wood are "woven" through it. I'll post a picture. Well, you have to cut the wood at an angle. I tried making one and WOW what a difference. You have alot more control. I will be making a lot of these baskets (and now other bevel sawn pieces) this year. I am going to be doing Jeff Zaffino's newest pattern from CWWC soon and I look forward to see how easy it cuts out! I would highly recommend getting one of these saws! Seyco is a great company and I look forward to meeting them again at another picnic! My next purchase will be the stand that is made just for the saw. But, that will be after the saw is paid for! If you need any information about it let me know and I will be more than happy to help you! Leldon Maxcy |
