When I do some very fine work I use a piece of plywood with a small hole drilled in it so that the small blade doesn't wander. Any better suggestions on what to use for the small additional table. The wood eventually wears and my small hole gets bigger. I have been using double sided tape to attach the estra top too.

Use 1/8" or 1/4" plexiglass. Smooth surface and cheap. Hold in place with double sided tape. The only thing this will have an effect if you use reverse tooth blades for it may prevent the bottom tooth from coming up high enough. I ahave an RBI and this is not a factor.

Joepa, My Delta P-20 came with a 0 clearance insert. Can you remove the insert from your saw and make a 0 clearance insert to fit in it's place rather than covering the table? Mine is vinyl or plastic. The hole does get larger with use.
Mick.

Thanks, I'll try that, the plywood just seems to grab sometimes when making
a turn.

Yeah, I had a small Delta, and I did have some small inserts, but the
Dewalt doesn't have the insert. You do have to put a small extra table on
it. The suggestion to use double stick tape and plexiglass sound good.
