I was in the middle of a project today when the saw stopped working. It won't turn on and the parallel arms seem like they are locked down. Normally when the saw is off I can move the arms up and down manually but now they won't budge. Any ideas of what this could be? Any info would be helpful as this is a sucky problem when making christmas gifts.

Mine does that too every now and thene when the arms stop in just the right place.
there is a slot on the end of the motor use a screw driver to rotate the motor about a 1/4 turn and try it again always works for me.
