After reading your posts do I need to start looking for a backup for my old Dremel 1671 ???   Does anyone know how long they keep parts for these ??  I like it and does everything fine .

Call them and find out. 1-800-437-3635  The tension adjuster went out on my 1800
I called and they just sent the lever which didn't solve my problem but I don't think I gave them enough info about what I needed but the service was prompt (3 days)
I called back and they sent me an exploded view of my saw with all part#'s listed. Ordered what I neede and had them in 4 days (there was a holiday there that made it longer that time. Saw is working fine again now
