I sent out over 100 paper invites and then my regular email newsletter list. Didn't send the newsletter people paper invites. It's not till Nov. 11th but I decided to send out the email last night. I figure I'll send out a reminder the Wednesday prior to the actual event.
Anyway, I decided to try something a little different. I put on my invitation for them to RSVP to me for a chance to win a prize drawing. Didn't specify what the prize was as I'm not completely sure what I'm giving either yet! May give away the hosting benefits if the sales are high enough. Otherwise I'll come up with something. Other than my newsletter subscribers, I haven't been to great about keeping in touch with other customers unless I happen to run into them. So I thought even though it's a stop n shop rather than an actual show I'd have them RSVP just in case they wanted an extra chance to win...and hoping that I'd get an idea of who might be there. I already got an RSVP!! I was shocked!
Now I need to finish getting ready with other ways to win. I put in my invite that there would be other ways revealed at the stop 'n shop. I'm thinking place an order, place an order as a gift in that recipients name (yep they'd have to pay shipping twice). Book a party...I'm in the process of creating a booking board like the Stampin' Up ones posted earlier. Not sure what else I'll offer. Maybe an extra ticket if they spend $60.
Then I'm also going to offer FREE gift wrapping for orders over $60. They'll also get the guest special free so that might be an extra incentive!
I'm really excited about this one! The first one we had was not as great as we'd liked. But I'm thinking if I already got one person to RSVP, I'm going pretty good...the paper invites haven't even made it out to people yet I'm sure!
I'm doing this with my friends from Longaberger, Home & Garden Party, and Tupperware too. So they'll have invites of their own. I know that Tupperware already has her's out and HGP has her's ready to go! I'm excited!
