I've been getting tons of requests via email. I've been in the process of changing up my theme show binder and have only gotten so far... So I've uploaded the following theme shows... Still have a lot more that aren't ready yet. But at least a few are done! Michelle |

Hmm...I'm not sure! But most of the pics I've used come from Microsoft's Clipart Gallery. Maybe you can just replace them? The titles of pretty much all of them are just WordArt if you have any trouble with those too. Maybe someone else can be of more help. Michelle |

I really like the looks of some of your theme shows. Could you tell us what recipes you are using and if you are doing anything different at the shows to make it more theme related. I appreciate you sharing. Sharon |

For each of the theme shows I've created a "Recipe Booklet" that has recipes that are related to that theme. That's the "something FREE" I give at the show for participating. It's just a one page sheet front and back folded in half with 4 recipes. As for what I do different that depends on the show. For example I have a Mexican Fiesta coming up on Saturday and I have a pair of Maracas and a sombrero. We'll pass the sombrero for everyone to put on while they introduce themselves. I also am trying to figure out a game to play with the maracas. Something where the guests have to shake them. They have been just sitting on my table as a little bit of flair! I'm also in the process of coming up with music to play on my computer while people are coming in and eating. I just make them fun! There's always something that I can do to add a fun little touch and Party America is always there to help with props! I don't go crazy on props...too expensive. But what I do buy is used in some way for a game. I just want to do something that's fun and stands out! Michelle |

Michelle,
These are great!! Can you post the little recipe books that you have for each theme show? Thanks.

Trish, I don't have near enough storage space to do that. They are just one piece of paper with my info at the top along with the Theme Show name and then a few recipes on the front and more on the back. I just picked a few recipes that made sense to me with the show and copied and pasted them from our AMAZING recipe section here on WLPCtoo. I did mine in a landscape format so I could fold in half, but they could be done in a portraint format flyer form too. I don't have even half of them completed either. I've been doing them as the show arrises. They are very time consuming. I'd be glad to give you some ideas on recipes I've done or have in the booklets. But I just can't upload them due to storage limitations and time. Uploading all these took quite a while and more than one account's storage space. Michelle |

Hi Michelle, I'm loving your theme show invitations. Thank you so much for sharing. How do you actually do the invites as opposed to the host flyer? Also, there is a few that I can't open: Housewarming, Backyard Barbecue, Tutti Frutti, Classic Cooking Show, At the Hop. Any ideas on how to get them? THANK YOU! Cathy |

I don't know what's up. I JUST re-uploaded all of those in March. I don't know why some of them aren't working. Ugh. Anyway, my full page invite is very similar to the "sample" at the bottom of each of those pages. I think the only thing I changed was info saying if you can't come but would like to order.... I think I'm gonna give MSN a chance to figure out what they're doing before I go re-uploading these all over again. If there's a specific one you're wanting and can't get it to come up, just drop me an email. Michelle |

The link just doesn't work for that one. We must have moved it one time or another. Who knows when we had all those document problems this summer it could have happened then. It's in the Theme Shows folder under Grilling... |

Ok. I need HELP!!! I've been looking and looking and looking for some ideas of what to make for a BIG show that I'm having on Friday evening. I know that I'm making triple citrus mojitos and we were talking about making the strawberry cream trifle, but I need something like an appetizer kind of thing for the demo.....This is a really good friend who usually has 2 BIG shows a year; usually about 30 or so people show up, so I don't want to look like a goofball. My director has always done my friend's shows in the past, but since she recruited me from my friend's show, she is letting me do her shows now...I'm kind of nervous. I've been all through the Joyce's Fine Cooking site and all through the recipes on this board, but nothing seems right! Any ideas???? I'm also willing to change and not necessarily make the trifle, if something else goes better with the mojitos theme. This group is a "desperate housewives" sort of crowd, upper middle class, soccer mom, golf wives......And since she has shows at least twice a year, I really want to steer away from any pizza or braid kind of thing.... I'm desperate.....and need some ideas fast! Amy |

The new "One Pot Pasta" dish is great-I did for a bridal shower--double the recipe..made 2 large oval platters---delicious....I also made fresh garlic bread to go with it using the garlic press and the loaf pan.....these ladies were very impressed..the host also prepared a large salad--she had it in a punch bowl.......she made a trifle prior to show and used my trifle dish instead of her own.....said owned 2 but liked ours better and told guests...sold several of them. Another suggestion would be the new "Cheeseburger salad"...with a large group, you might have to double the recipe..... |
