Here's a tip from the General board in regards to this new product:

They also told us at the new product class that the new decorator bottles are standard 12 inch decorating tips.

So you can tell customers that they can go to any craft store and add tips to the set when ever they want.

Michele

Feel free to add your own tips as well,
Marian

So why didn't HO decide to sell tips for our bottles?  I mean I'd much rather put $$ into my commission check than into some craft store coffer, IYKWIM?

Thanks for the tip, Michele!  Now methinks we need to c/p some of this conversation over to the new products thread &/or maybe even some of it to the Tool Thyme Tips board as well.

I think there's too many options on tips for it to be feasable for PC to sell the tips.... probably end up with a zillion of one kind and not enough of another.

I'm so excited about the silcone cupcake pan........ I can't wait to actually get one!!! In the product class they said a regular cake mix will make 24 of the cupcakes.... oh darn..... they'll have to buy two!!!

Has anyone gone and bought tips and tried this?  The reason I ask is I will be making my daughters cupcakes for her birthday in September and the one she wants are in a Wilton Cup cake book  and I wasn't sure if the tips would work.
