Now, here's a motion picture, that was originally released in 1949, but it's still such a classic, and is presently released by Turner Classic Movies.
 
I have'nt watched a black and white movie for many moons, but this one, was most definitely worth the time spent. Very exciting movie. Something along the lines of "King Kong."

It certainly sounds like an interesting film. Perhaps I'll check it out. Writing of old films, one old film I like is "The Scarlet Pimpernel" [the 1982 version] starring Jane Seymour [who was a guest star on E4's "Smallville: Superman The Early Years"] and Anthony Andrews. It is a classic. I have watched it over 10 times. Check it out!
