Let us take a moment and think about the pyramid and one of its many analogous meanings...
If you place a drop of water on the peak of a pyramid it might sit there, balanced perfectly. But if you added another drop to that one and then another, soon the water would trickle down the sides of the pyramid. If you continued to add water it would pour down all sides.
What was at the peak, would reach the base. Let us consider that the top ten percent of the pyramid represented the most enlightened people on the planet and the rest of the pyramid represented the rest of humanity at their various levels of understanding and enlightenment—those at the very bottom having no conscious understanding at all. We have talked of water tickling and pouring down the sides of the pyramid, but what if we replaced the water with an 'understanding', a 'truth'. Let us also consider that the interior of the pyramid is made solely of the brightest Light you can imagine, that it is this which supports the walls--the walls representing all of humanity.
The 'truth' originates at the peak of the pyramid, amongst those who know who they are, who grasp the reality of all there is. That idea trickles down over the other levels of the pyramid, it touches and permeates each and every block.
An enlightened truth cannot flow from the ground up to the top of the pyramid, as those at the base do not grasp that they are not solely a physical body struggling to feed and clothes themselves. The truths which will set these people free can only originate at the level where the truth is known and embraced. That which flows from the peak may not be consciously accepted by the lower levels, it may be consciously rejected as ridiculous, absurd, science fiction nonsense. But subconsciously the truth is indeed accepted. So much of humanity cannot be reached because of what they believe or refuse to believe. However, as loving understandings are shared with them, from the energy at the peak of the pyramid, they will eventually make the conscious choice to contemplate what they are learning. From the inside out, from the top down.
It is because the enlightened peak of the pyramid is such a small size that the task of enlightening all of humankind is so difficult...but it will happen, eventually.
Those at the peak face an unseen challenge because those who make up the rest of the pyramid do not understand them. This means that many of the things they try to do are met with resistance. They are not understood, therefore what they have to share is not valued. They feel, in many ways, out of place. Fortunately they are drawn to people who hold similar beliefs and understandings, and as a group they support and encourage each other, and the work continues.
The peak represents the most enlightened members of humanity, and though that peak is small at this time, it will increase, it will extend down the pyramid until all the pyramid is fully enlightened.
In the meanwhile, accept that whatever is shared from the top of the pyramid does indeed touch the rest of the pyramid, that a difference is made, that a degree of enlightenment is taking place, that the rest of the pyramid is being affected. Just because you do not see it or feel it, does not mean it is not happening.
To those at the peak of the pyramid, accept the importance of your role. And do not be disheartened when you think you are not making a difference, for you are making a very real and great difference.
Take no pride in your position, no matter where on the pyramid you think you reside. We are all ONE regardless of our level of understanding and BEing.
