Fettuccine Alfredo 
 ( from scratch )
  
 10 ozs.-cooked Fettuccine noodles
  8 ozs. cream ( half n half )
 1/4 oz  butter
 1/2 tsp. cracked-black peppercorn
 1/2 tsp. salt 
 2 tbsp. Extra Virgin Olive Oil
 1/4 oz. Parmigiano cheese
  
 In a sauce pan, add the noodles and water to cover by 1";
 add saltand olive oil,stir with a wooden spoon and cook until 3/4 done. 
  
 Strain off water,and put noodles back into the pan;
 Add the cream,butter,and bring to a hard boil.  
  
 When the noodles are fully cooked,remove from heat.
 Blend in the cheese and cracked pepper and serve.
