I finished a book in April on King Henry VIII - over 900 pages!  I borrowed it from a coworker and I don't remember the name of the author but she has written many biographies on historical people (Elizabeth, Cleopatra, etc).  But, if you are a history buff, or are just up to a challenge, I recommend it.  A painting of him is on the cover, and the soft cover book is a redish color.

The book discussed all of his wives & how they came about as well as all of his life from start to finish & was very interesting.  The family tree illustration was interesting too.  Contrary to popular belief, he wasn't exactly a piggish, sexually deprived womanizer with no morals (at least not at the beginning)!  I actually felt badly for him throughout the book.  DeniseNH
