Read Scriptures: Exodus 13:1 - 15:21
Situation: The Israelites left Egypt. As they journeyed toward Israel, God choose to lead them through a longer route - a route that protected, trained and tested them.
Observation: God can see needs and hazards we can't. He works to meet our needs and protect us. We must trust that His way is best.
Application: Do you get impatient with God when He takes you the longer route? Accept the path He has placed you on. Be content with God's purpose in your life. Encourage others who are dissatisfied in their own circumstances to do same.
