Read Scriptures: Leviticus 1:1-6-7
Situation: Blood sacrifices had great significance. Blood offered an atonement for sin, but its incompleteness required the perfect sacrifices Jesus Christ. The sacrifices in these chapters taught the Israelites how to worship God through personal commitment.
Observation: God's people must revere Him, commit themselves to Him laws and show sincere dedication to Him.
Application: What difficult dicisions could you face this week because of your faith? In what areas will you face ridicule? temptation? persecution? hard times? Ask God to give you courage and wisdom to face upcoming trials.
Exploration: Commitment- Genesis 22:1-8; Joshua 24:15; 2 Chronicles 15:14-15; Matthew 16:24-25.
