Read Scriptures: Leviticus 11:1-15:33

Situation: God set forth His laws for purity.  They included food, childbirth, skin disease and bodily fluids.

Observation: Failure to obey these regulations was considered sin.  While following God's law did provide good hygenic results, they also seperated the pure and the clean from the impure and unclean.  Israle was to be distinct from the pagan nations surrounding them.  We make decisions daily that may not be popular but may be proper.

Application: What decisions do you need to make today?  Before you make your choice, consider which options would most honor God.

Exploration: Purity - Psalm 24:4; Matthew 5:8; Phillipians 4:6-8; 1 Thessalonians 4:1-8; Titus 1:15; 2:5

(Lam 3:22) It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not.

(Lam 3:23) They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness.

(Lam 3:24) The LORD is my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him.

(Lam 3:25) The LORD is good unto them that wait for him, to the soul that seeketh him.

(Lam 3:26) It is good that a man should both hope and quietly wait for the salvation of the LORD.
