Reading Scriptures: Leviticus 18:1-20:27
Situation: God was the Israelites from one pagan culture to another. God wanted the people to follow His guidelines for sexual practices. He wanted them to abhor the sexual sins of the pagan cultures.
Observations: To obey God means fulfilling our desires only with our spouse, as God intends.
Application: The world promotes sex without restrictions as the key to happiness. Avoid that lie, eliminate its decietful influences. Build solid friendships and an active social life on a foundation of sexual purity. If you are married renwe your commitment to your spouse.
