Read Scriptures: Leviticus 26:1-27:34

Situation: God through Moses presented blessings as a reward for obedience and cursing as a punishment for habitual sin.  This led the people to confess and reiterate their devotion to God with vows and tithes.

Observation: God sets boundaries for our own good.  We suffer when we break them.  We must respond to His love so that we will not have to face His discipline.

Application: Consider all that God has done for you in redeeming you from sin's captivity and providing you with blessings.  In what area do you overstep God's boundaries? Consider the consequences.  Stop in your tracks.  Flee from tempting circumstances.  Return to the Lord, the Good Shepherd.

Exploration:  On Blessing and Cursing - Deuteronomy 11; Ezekial 14:12-21
