Situation: God directed Moses and others to take a census of the Israelites and to organize the tribes for specific duties.
Observation: Moses counted all of God's people and assigned certain people to lead in worship. Each role helped to shape the community.
Application: You can make a difference in the lives of your children and grandchildren by serving God and dedicating your children to His service. The next time your family comes together, share about the "point people" who have most affected your life for the Lord. Help instill a vision for service in the Kingdom of God. Then share with your children how they can pass along the vision.
