Read Scriptures: 1 Kings 21:1-22:53
Situation: King Ahab was not content with what he already had. In partnership with his wicked wife, Jezebel, he killed the owner of a choice vineyard, and they took it for themselves. God promised to bring them to justice.
Observation: Be on the alert, jealousy may creep into life and lead you to sin. Surrounding yourself with bad company during these vulnerable times can lead to sin.
Application: If parents in your church are worried about negative peer influence, start a kid's club. If you'd like to nurture better friendships, start a weekly Bible Study group, a men's club/women's club or PARTICIPATE in one.
