Read Scriptures 2 Kings 1:1-18
Situation: Ahaziah served as king of the Northern Kingdom {Israel} for two years. As an evil king he followed Baal.
Observation: Pagan dieties are no help, and God is offended when we think otherwise.
Application: False prophets and false gods have always been with us. Study the Scriptures to see their characteristics, and then adopt Jude's three point plan stay in God's love guide believers away from false teachings back to God and confront {with mercy} false teachers.
