Who among us does not suffer, bearing persistent pain, and hurt?. Sickness or handicaps, broken relationships, insufficient resources, these are all sources of pain and suffering. Some is by chance, like a car accident that maims us or a cancer that cripples our loved one or even takes there life. Some by neglect, such as our failure to prepare for times of pressure. Some by design, where we willingly take on enormous responsibilities in order to achieve some goal. Some is by sin, where we willingly go against Gods commands and then we must suffer the consequences. What ever the source, we all feel the dark shadow of suffering. When we suffer in what ever way we always seem to blame God but why? We read in Geneses 37:28 So when the traders came by, his brothers pulled Joseph out of the pit and sold him for 20 pieces of silver. In Jeremiah 32:18 You are loving and kind to thousands, though children suffer for there parents sins. Sometimes we suffer because of the sins of others and not our own sins. In Job 1:6-22 The house collapsed, and all your children are dead. In John 9:1-3 "Teacher" his disciples asked him. Why was this man blind? was it a result of his own sins or his parents?. Sometimes the suffering that comes to us is not our fault It just happens. In this case, how we react to suffering is the key. In Leviticus 26:43 At last the people will receive the due punishment for there sins, for they rejected my regulations and my laws. In proverbs 3:11-12 My child, don`t ignor it when the Lord disciplins you, for the Lord corrects those he loves, just as a father corrects a child in whom he delights. Sometimes God sends suffering as a punishment for our sins, He disciplins us because he loves us and wants to correct us and restor us to him. In Deuteronomy 8:2 We Read Remember how the Lord your God led you through the wildeness for 40 years, humbling you and testing you, To find out whether or not you would really obey his commands? Sometimes God tests us with suffering to encourage us to obey him. In 1 Peter 4:14 Be happy if you are insulted for being a Christian, for then the glorious Spirit of God will come upon you. Sometimes we willingly suffer because we must take a stand for Christ. In James 1:3 For when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow. sometimes we willingly suffer because it will help us to mature. In 2 Timothy 3:12 Yes and everyone who wants to live a Godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persicution. The world hates Christ, so when we identify with him, we can expect the world that inflicted suffering on him to also inflict suffering on us. We must of cause remember that Our Lord himself suffered at the hands of the unbelivers in Matthew 17:12 And soon the Son Of Man will suffer at their hands. In Luke 24:26 Was`nt it clearly predicted by the prophets that the Messiah would suffer all these things before entering his glory? John 3:16 For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whoever believeth in him should eternal life. Recognize that Jesus himself suffered for us. Christ the aggonies of the cross, which embraced incredible physical suffering but also unthinkable suffering of bearing the sins of the world. In Romans 8:17-18 And since we are his children, we will share in his treasures, for everything God gives to his son, Christ is ours too. But if we are to share in his glory, we must also share his suffering. Yet what we suffer now is nothing compared to the glory he will give us later. in Hebrews 2:18 Since he himself has gone through suffering and temptation, he is able to help us when we are tempted. God makes us several promises Psalm 147:3 God offers healing to the brokenhearted. Zechariah 9:12 God has mercy upon those who suffer. 2 Corinthians 1:5 God comforts those who suffer. Well keep on looking up to the light which is Jesus Christ and remember Jesus loves you and has a plan for your life. Sincerely in Christ. Clive (Matched_1)

(Psa 19:7) The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.

(Psa 19:8) The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.

(Psa 19:9) The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.

(Psa 19:10) More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.

(Psa 19:11) Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
