How oft does the Lord overlook the situations of life to find that it appears there is no one who cares

Jeremiah 12:11

Yet the Lord reveals that He will again have compassion to bring restoration whereby we can learn and so connect with the authority of His name and purpose being thus established as we so respond and listen.

Jeremiah was bidden to put a linen belt around His waist

Jeremiah 13:1-2

It consequently became ruined and completely useless v.7

"In the same way I will ruin the pride....of those who refuse to listen to my words, who follow the stubbornness of their hearts and go after other gods to serve and worship them, will be like this belt--completely useless!  For as a belt is bound around a man's waist, so I bound.....to me to be my people.

Jeremiah 13:8-11

We are to hold fast in our relationship with the Lord less we become seperated by our own unfaithfulness and become useless

We are chosen by God as His peculiar treasures through cords of love  which bind us to Christ and to our fellow believers thereby being of great value to the Lord

LET US SO ABIDE IN CHRIST

Lord stir the Holy Spirit in the heart of your children while it is still day

We are to be filled with the new wine of the Holy Spirit.  We are to hear and so respond giving glory to the Lord listening and giving head to His leading and guidance.

v.12-17

Hear and be a vessel of Praise being a temple of the Holy Spirit; filled with the Glory of His presence in that relationship of Love

Let us so respond partaking of the treasures of the tree of life whereby the love of Christ is stirred anew in our heart and life.

In Christ we have opportunity to live today and all our tomorrows in the Spirit fulfilling God's will

It is pride that causes us to be forgetful thereby robbing us of our relationship with Christ.  Let us therefore be humble and confess our own weaknesses and inability to respond in love allowing the reality of the Holy Spirit to work in us in new ways we could never befdore have imagined
