GOD'S WAKE UP CALL
2 Chronicles 7:14
If My people, who are called by My name will
humble themselves, and pray and seek My face,
and turn from their wicked ways,
THEN I WILL HEAR
from heaven and will
FORGIVE their sin and HEAL their land
Notice the progression
Revival is the work of God in God's people
but do we comprehend the reality thereof.
What hinders revival is us not turning
and failure to so respond to His leading and guidance
Sin is failure to HEAR God, to LOVE God, to SERVE God.
Let's be practical
Have you had your quiet time this morning?
Have you heard from God today thro His word?
A lack of obedience is a lack of love for God
Serving God involves doing fervently and faithfully what God has commanded.
We each are responsible to find, to follow and finish
God's work for our own lives.
Repentance has a process which includes
being humble, praying and seeking the face of the Lord and
turning to so appropriate that which God has intended
To be humble means to be broken before God
God reaches forth to relieve the broken heart and save those of a contrite spirit but are we living out the true concepts of
repentance in our daily life style?
WE NEED TO BE WILLING TO ADMIT SIN
AND GET RIGHT WITH GOD
Prayer begins with OURSELF and GOD
Are we truly sincere about SEEKING the LORD?
Is our desire to encounter and so lay hold of Him,
until it produces and releases the reality of
divine restoration and revival?
Are we willing to TURN to so appropriate the reality
of being free from the moral decay and degradation of life
with the
POWER and PRESENCE of the HOLY SPIRIT
being evident
GOD PROMISES A DIVINE VISITATION
FORGIVENESS
and
RESTORATION
The principles are to acknowledge
the problems that hinder and accept
the process that would bring revival
to pass in our own life
Are we willing to hear the Lord?
He reaches out to revive our heart and soul
and as we would behold Jesus,
the Holy Spirit performs in our heart
a perpetual work of sanctification
making us more like Christ
whereby we are transformed to
thus behold His Glory.
STAND FIRM IN CHRIST that the LIGHT of JESUS
would TRANSFORM every aspect
of your life and being
IS IT NOT TIME FOR US TO AWAKEN AND HEAR THE VOICE OF THE SPIRIT OF GOD?
